Scopa cards! At least, that's what they're often referred to in the States. I know there's other games associated, but typically they're marketed for Scopa.
If I recall correctly, the history of that style deck of cards was related to disguising fortune-telling cards (like Tarot), using only the minor arcana. I used to go down to the local Italian Heritage club with Grandma to play Scopa with the seniors.
