Made me think of the photos of Paul in the studio playing John’s Rick upside down! Great videos! Awesome to get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to do what you do. 🙏 👍🏻
The 325V63 in video. That’s my dream guitar since I was a kid. It was my 1st 325, and she’ll always be special to me. I’ve had several 325C64s and they’re all nice, but this baby is it for me.
I had a c58 myself it wasn’t what I had expected. It had garbage tone and wasn’t my cup of tea. The tone on his v63 sounds amazing though, I’ve got to try a c64.
@@ardavansarraf2973 i got to play a 325 a while back! and i was messing around with the controls, and listening to the rhythm guitar track, it has to be the bridge position with the tone rolled all the way off! that's for the studio version of the song.
Thanks Ardy, so knowledgable and accomplished. What feels more comfortable and natural to you one, left handed or right handed, and do you have to consciously ‘engage’ the faultless Paul voice or does it come out automatically when you sing his/their songs?
Righty is more natural since I am a born righty. Playing lefty has helped with my vocals actually for shows somehow. I think I have a very similar timbre to my voice as Paul’s, I’m lucky in that regard. Yeah I do throw on some Paul - ISMS for a better match, especially on certain songs
@@ardavansarraf2973 Thanks Ardy, You can hit those high Paul notes whilst still sounding just like him, and you’re a very skilful bass payer honed through rigorous practise. We’re very lucky to have you, and you’re an alien level talent in your own right.
Sorry, but you seem to be perpetuating the myth that every Fireglo 325 with an F-hole is a RM 1996 - that is NOT the case. Lennon's was, 'tis true, but Fogerty's ACME was a Fireglo Ric 325 w/an F-hole. For years, most Ric 325's, of any livery, had F-holes. The fact that Rose Morris insisted on them doesn't mean that F's were in any way exclusive to them.
I do not like the Rose Morris f hole. A cat’s eye would have been better. Cat’s eye is easier to store your condoms and ky jelly, so you are always ready for a quickie. Bigsby vibrato is worthless. Bow tie bridge is worthless, always moving. Can not set intonation, especially if string gage is changed. Nut material questionable. Put in a roller bridge and roller nut. Later Ric bridges have sharp saddles that cut the strings and cause failure.
When you started playing "She's A Woman" I was all "I hope he sings it!". Wasn't disappointed.
A teaser pleaser

Hey Ardy.
Thanks for sharing the Rickenbacker guitars that John Lennon played.
✌n💙
Wow beautiful guitars
Your Guitar Collection is awesome Ardy
I do love me some guitars 👏😎👍
Awesome collection!
Hey Ardy, maybe you could do a collection about the different type of outfits you wear in a Fab Four show?
@@humanpaste1268 who knows, maybe some day
I've always liked the sound of the C58''s more than the V63's.
Ardy's even using the right strap!
Python!
You should do a video about your gretsch's
I own a 325c64 myself, but woulda killed for a c58. Of all the Rick short scales which one would you say is your favorite?

Cheers, same to you and thank you
Ardy better tell Ron to buy his own Rick's!! lol Great Video, Thanks!!!
I tried, I actually made this 325V63 part of Fab Four shows because he didn’t have one. I finally got it back 2 years ago where it belongs
You should do a video about the Ric bass and how you get it to sound how Paul had it
That’s coming up next
Can’t wait 👍🏻👍🏻
I need a c58 sooooo bad😵😵😵
I hear ya man, They’re awesome guitars.
I have one
@@jarnovarsted9053 U are sooo lucky, I have a Chickenbacker 325.
Can you show me how did you learn to play left-handed?
Hey man, do you plan on getting a 320/12 or 325/12? One last rick to complete the Lennon collection. It would be cool to see you play it
One of these days sure
Awsome ardy👍
I wish I could play better, lessons would’ve helped a lot
and when you play I want to hold your hand, the tone is just the bridge position with the tone rolled all the way off!
How would you know that? Just curious

I see you now right-handed
i WANT ONE! i WILL NEVER PUT IT DOWN!

I see, I’m not sure I was trying to imply that. But I stand corrected, I’m not an expert on al the history on all my guitars. Thanks for the info
