Shri shailam is a holy place of pilgrimage. సౌరాష్ట్ర సోమనాథం చ శ్రీశైల్లే మల్లికార్జున అని పురాణా లలో చెప్పినారు. జోతిర్లింగా లని దర్శనం చేయడం పుణ్య కరం.ఆ క్షేత్రo లో ఒక్క రోజు ఉపవాసం ఉండటం తరువాత తలనీలాలు సమర్పించి రావడం మంచిదని పురాణలాలో చెప్పబడినది.
