Fun fact: That car used to live on the Carnival Ecstasy, one of their old Fantasy class ships. I really love the vibe of the Golden Jubilee lounge celebrating the history of Carnival cruising. It sure has changed over the years. Some ways good, some ways bad, but WOW this ship is WORLDS apart from where they started! Thanks for the vid! How would you rate Carnival Cruises? My family is considering taking a cruise on the kids Spring Break this year. We have been looking at Royal Caribbean and Carnival. People of course have some things to say about Carnival, like they are the Dollar General of cruise lines, they are rowdy and etc. I figured Id ask the opinion of good people whos actually been on Carnival.
Honestly I have had nothing but positive experiences on both Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Carnival and Royal Caribbean are both kid friendly cruise lines. I have taken my kids on Carnival during spring break and they loved it! I suggest watching a few more videos on the ships you are interested in and make your decision from there. I think experiencing the line yourself is the best way because what may bother one person may not be a big deal to someone else. Whichever one you choose I’m sure you and your family will a great time!

We really did enjoy the ship! We were on Deck 10 and thought it was pretty good deck. I would avoid being in a deck that is right below any of the restaurants, bars, pools or recreational facilities. You would be pretty good on decks 10 - 14.

Did you use a travel agent? Would you recommend one?
Thank you so much! Cruises are pretty easy to book but if you are a first time cruiser, using a travel agent could be a good thing especially if they are familiar with cruising. They could provide some good info and tips to make your trip go a little smoother.

@user-tx4uo1up4x The Carnival Horizon and Carnival Celebration sale from Miami and they both have ABC Islands itineraries. When you are searching on Carnival’s website filter by ship and select Carnival Horizon and Carnival Celebration and look through those itineraries, and you should see options for the Southern Caribbean.
