Jim Courier is no way near Pete Sampras.
Courier was somehow successful against Agassi & Edberg and made 4 Grand slam.
Both Edberg & Agassi gave tough fight to Sampras and defeated him when nobody expected

This was the last time Courier (4) had more grand slams than Sampras (3). After this match Sampras won the AO and got to 4.

Sampras outright denied Courier another AO here. Courier would have defeated Martin as well IMO.
