The trigger is : Both the driver, kenneth and the public waited 20 min no one , no police or ambulance come...that's why Kenneth drove away...maybe seek medical help ... Hannah payne should not shot at him... But the judge gave her lifetime sentence is too much. She should get 10-15 yrs is maximum. There is discrmination in this case. the judge is black, Hannah is white, and kenneth is black.
It really is a matter of liability: when police officers screwed up, the county/city/town pay for it. When you screw up, you pay for it out of your own pocket and/or life.

是啊！有些蓄意谋杀的也没有背叛终身监禁。这个案子之所以判得这么重，主要是白人杀黑人，法官是黑人，案发地又是在波士顿。。。另外，不论是被害人还是汉娜的家人，都应该另案民事起诉当地警察局，追究20分钟不到现场的原因，看看是否有渎职行为。

我觉得这案子定性上没什么问题，但是量刑过重。像这种冲动之下的犯罪，判个十到十五年差不多了。考虑到当街行凶，在公路上危险驾驶这些行为，那判个十五到二十年差不多了。终身监禁有点过了。但是因为允许假释，可能实际执行的刑期差不多就是十五到二十年，所以也大差不差。
