I read of Canright, Ballinger, Froom, Anderson, Glacier View, of Baccachochi, and many others and I'm glad to have a first hand account of the history especially about Des Ford and Froom and the Evangelicals. I remember as a teen reading "the glad tidings" of us not being classified as a cult. Not knowing any better, I was rejoiced. However as I began to see the lowering of standards, the disregard of the Prophetic Pen, the intense worldliness I became suspicious that something was awfully wrong. Thank you for posting this video. It has answered a lot of questions and cleared up a lot for me. Most SdAs (Fordites) would be hostile to it but some will be blessed by its genuineness and truthfullness.

I was a student of Des Ford at PUC, and it was quite impressive to hear someone speaking in a manner that made sense, rather than the self-contradictory drivel I had been raised on, and which these speakers epitomize. Personally I left over literal 6-day young-earth creationism, rather than petty doctrinal differences. It's nice to hear that the SDA's are evolving.

I'm not even Christian any more, but I'm still happy that the church I was raised in is evolving into something more sane. What bothers me, is why was Des Ford defrocked and still maligned, if the church ultimately embraced his "new theology?" I don't think he ever had a negative word to say about SDA or EGW. They are foremost authority and has made their deciding statement that will settle this Saturday or Sunday argument once and for all. Is the British “Royal Astronomical Society journal Astronomy & Geophysics” and has published its decision in the “Oxford Academic October 2017”and their finding now confirms that the Sun and Moon “did not” stand still and was misconceived by biblical writers. This is conclusive as these astrological observers are funded for the asteroid-tracking project that have a vast and extensively detailed data base on both the historical and further motions of the heavenly bodies. I personally knew Russell Standish and his lovely wife Enid. They divorced some time later after three lovely sons. The divorce was,in a way no great surprise since there were four people in that marriage‼️‼️‼️‼️ The extra two were firstly Russell’s twin brother Colin, and secondly Ellen G White to whom he was umbilically attached. I and my wife were privileged to still be friends with Enid, who was also a long time patient. This is a prime example of a cult ruining a family. I know folks because I was there from the early 1960s. Russell, now dead, was a menace to his family and to himself. as will those who have understanding by experience, interpreted by the Holy Spirit, and shown to be in line with
the truth of the Word of God. The believer may have a direct witness in his spirit to the truth of the Divine
Word, but through experience he gets a personal witness to the inspiration of Scripture, to its testimony
concerning the existence of supernatural beings, and their works, and the way they deceive, and mislead the
children of men.
THE WORK OF SATAN AS DECEIVER IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
If all that the Bible contains on the subject of the supernatural powers of evil, could be exhaustively dealt with
in this book, we should find that more knowledge is given of the workings of Satan, and his principalities and
powers, than many have realized. From Genesis to Revelation the work of Satan as deceiver of the whole
inhabited earth can be traced, until the climax is reached, and the full results of the deception in the Garden of
Eden are unveiled in the Apocalypse. In Genesis we have the simple story of the garden, with the guileless pair
unaware of danger from evil beings in the unseen world. We find recorded there Satan's first work as deceiver,
and the subtle form of his method of deception. We see him working upon an innocent creature's highest and
purest desires, and cloaking his own purpose of ruin, under the guise of seeking to lead a human being nearer to
God. We see him using the God-ward desires of Eve to bring about captivity, and bondage to himself. We see
him using "good" to bring about evil; suggesting evil to bring about supposed good. Caught with the bait of
being "wise," and "like God," Eve is blinded to the principle involved in obedience to God, and is deceived (1
Tim. 2: 14, A.V.).
Goodness is, therefore, no guarantee of protection from deception. The keenest way in which the devil deceives
the world, and the Church, is when he comes in the guise of somebody, or something, which apparently causes
them to go God-ward and good-ward. He said to Eve, "ye shall be as gods," but he did not say, "and ye shall be
like demons." Angels and men only knew evil when they fell into a state of evil. Satan did not tell Eve this,
when he added "knowing good and evil." His true objective in deceiving Eve was to get her to disobey God, but
his wile was, "ye shall be like God." Had she reasoned, she would have seen that the deceiver's suggestion
exposed itself, for it crudely resolved itself into "disobey God" to be more like God!...... taken from war on

Addressing the problem of which day is the true “day of rest” has become a news worthy issue, of (Sunday blue laws) are being looked at as being good for the environment. This new attention has also made the 2000 year old problem, if the “day of rest” (Sabbath) is Saturday or Sunday. This divisive argument which has never been resolved before needs to be now. The problem arises because Sabbath is based on the Biblical Creation story so therefore it effects all Abraham based religions.
Jesus who stated that he is the “Lord of the Sabbath” and has declared though his disciples that the Sabbath is Sunday, His authority to make such a claim was based on his being a student of the Library of Alexandria in Egypt and according to reliable sources Jesus had visited and lived near the tin quarrying aria of Southern Britain’s, with Joseph of Arimathea who was tin merchant from Judah. This same Joseph is mention in the Gospel as the person who asked to Roman authorities for control of Jesus’ body after the crucifixions and gave Jesus the memorized tomb with the roll away stone seal.. This area of Britain that Jesus lived is also home of the ancient astronomical observatory of Stonehenge near Cornwall and Greenwich This is relevant because the argument about if true Sabbath is Saturday or Sunday is connected to Solar and Lunar observations.
The astronomical data which the whole World has already unanimously agreed on, is Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT) which is the bases for the Global Positioning System (GPS) and is the AM and PM on ever ones clocks. They are foremost authority and has made their deciding statement that will settle this Saturday or Sunday argument once and for all. Is the British “Royal Astronomical Society journal Astronomy & Geophysics” and has published its decision in the “Oxford Academic October 2017”and their finding now confirms that the Sun and Moon “did not” stand still and was misconceived by biblical writers. This is conclusive as these astrological observers are funded for the asteroid-tracking project that have a vast and extensively detailed data base on both the historical and further motions of the heavenly bodies. Conclusive two days were miscalculated as only being one day.
Jesus's Sabbath was and is Saturday and God did not use the Moon and the Sun to make that decision.

They divorced some time later after three lovely sons.

The extra two were firstly Russell’s twin brother Colin, and secondly Ellen G White to whom he was umbilically attached.
