She wasn't known for soft ballads or folksy tunes, and certainly couldn't hit those high notes. Joplin, on the other hand, was just different. Nothing really compares to her style. I wouldn't put her in the same type rock realm as Wilson. These are just opinions. Nothing wrong, nothing right.
Growing up in the 70s there were a lot of rock bands that I jammed out to but Ann Wilson and the rest of Heart showed me that even though there were some huge female voices of the day Ann has always had one of the greatest rock voices ever.

They sound Excellent. Their out of San Francisco and have been a Zeppelin Tribute Band for a long time. Their very tight musically. Very Professional in keeping the authentic Zeppelin sounds Alive.
