National Mall fireworks in Washington DC celebrates July 4th 2021 | Watch Live

- Fireworks are back at the National Mall after we weren't able to watch the spectacle last year in person amid the COVID pandemic.
Now, as COVID numbers continue to drop and vaccinations continue to increase, all that has changed and crowds are welcome once again.
Mike Litterst, chief of communications for the National Mall and Memorial Parks, says tens of thousands of visitors are expected on the Mall Sunday night.
"To fully, openly embrace visitors coming down and experiencing what we have to offer and capping it off [with] what's going to be the largest fireworks show in the country, it is very special," he said.

We represented like always, D.C. came back with the best fireworks this year.Im from uptown N.W and I have been downtown watching fireworks for more than 25 times for these events..This was how it use to be and the pass years has been ok but when I was younger this is how i remembered it....Wonderful Job!!!!!!

I used to live outside of DC. The dogs I had then didn’t mind fireworks. The dogs I have now get scared. I wouldn’t want them near fireworks of this magnitude.

Mostly Red and Yellow for China flag colors... Our city had Blues greens purple... red white and blue together.

Today (Its 4th of July where I am rn) and earlier when we were popping some nice cool fireworks, and all of a sudden somebody DRIVED THEIR CAR on top of one of our fireworks when It wasnt popping. They literally said “oh wait lemme Just drive over these peoples fireworks and try to get my car exploded so these people can pay for It”
And earlier I was really close to a firework when It was about to pop and explode Into the air and so my cousin told me to back up because then It was goanna slap me. And he was actually Joking he didnt know It would be popping everywhere and stuff, and then hes like “I think I might have saved capones life Just by a Joke xD”
