This is one of the best sermons i have ever heard in all my years on this planet. Sad to say i lived many years as some of the examples pastor talked about. Not now but perfection escapes me. But at the end of the day Jesus died and shed his blood to save a wreck like me. It is almost too good to be true but i stand in it.
Pastor Cucuuza thank you so so much for your true preaching of THE WORD OF GOD I know it has helped many people like it has me I thank GOD FOR YOU AND YOUR PREACHING .LOVE IN CHRIST,Jerry Anderson
If I had been able to find a local pastor like this one, I would’ve never left church over 15 years ago, but knowing how many false doctrines I was taught and even more being taught now in 99.9% of the churches, I do not regret leaving church! I thank God for his Holy Spirit leading me to this correct teaching online to undo the damage done by the lordship damnation teaching I was raised with.
Thanks Tom. Great message! Excellent examples of true believers who failed, biblically proving the falseness of the Calvinist teaching of perseverance of the Saints. Lot, a believer in the Lord, for one, is even commended in 2 Peter 2:7 for his righteous hatred of the wickedness around him, in spite of his sinful lifestyle over most of his life. Another example, Samson, a believer who was unfaithful to God much of his life, is nevertheless listed in the Hebrews 11 Hall of Faith. Today I was flipping the radio dial to various "Christian" stations. Two of them were well-known preachers and the sermons were both promoting the false Calvinist teaching of perseverance. It is so pervasive! I quickly turned off both of those teachers of false doctrine.
The Kadesh Barnea crowd, the Church in Laodicea, David, who that last quote just called 'perfect', and is also called a man after God's own heart murdered and committed adultery with Bathsheba, and so many more it's amazing. Romans 4:5 - But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
We know for a fact that King Saul was saved because when he was brought up by the Witch of Endor, Samuel told Saul that he and his sons would "be with me" (go to Paradise or Abraham's bosom, the same place where Samuel and the other dead righteous saints in the OT went) after they died the next day (1 Samuel 28:19).
There are many pastors that keep preaching messages that make you ask if you are truly saved as if to put you in fear of being wrong...as if to make you work harder to be saved,
I know an elderly woman who recently got ensnared with MacArthur's study bible and now she is a devotee of his. I don't know if she ever was a true believer or not. This is how Calvinists square these OT saints with their false perseverance doctrine: quote 'they are there to teach us to improve upon our lives. We are to do better than them'.
Just think about Peter in the book of Galatians I think it was 14 to 17 years after the ascension of Jesus Paul rebuked Peter to his face because he played the hypocrite… I find it simply amazing. I have so many friends and family members who are still walking around with a yoke of bondage, trying to live according to the law.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Calvinists by not rightly dividing the word of truth misinterpret the Matthew 24 verse that says, “he that endures until the end shall be saved” to the P (perseverance of the saints) of TULIP when in actuality, Jesus was telling the Jews who will go through the future Great Tribulation that if they believe in Jesus and manage to make it through without getting killed, they will enter the Millennial Kingdom to procreate and repopulate mankind.
Yes. And, those who are martyred during the tribulation get a position of serving God at His throne, according to Revelation. People make a huge mistake by assuming that all saved people throughout the ages are the bride. Jesus called John the Baptist the friend of the bridegroom. He was the last OT prophet. (John the Baptist even called himself the friend of the bridegroom.) The guests at the wedding supper are not the bride. Jesus said that the church will judge angels and will judge Israel. That's because the church is the bride who rules and reigns with Jesus. If people understand that, they would interpret scripture properly. There are different positions and ranks that will make up God's "government."
nothings ever free.......so we have been taught.......its hard some times to accept a free gift and then not question later whats the catch..........mankind has always been trained that they must work for whatever they have or want to have...human effort.......this is what creeps into salvation when it is a free gift......the demons know that man has been trained and they use that against him to make salvation a faith plus work scenario..........
The saying "nothing's ever free" is technically still true even in the plan of salvation. Usually the point of that saying is to point out that someone paid for it at some point. In the case of salvation it was Jesus Christ that made the payment. It's free to you and I but it cost Jesus everything (his life). The reason I point this out is that it's important not to forget what Jesus had to go through to save us.
The one thing I need answered is Saul committed suicide at the end of his life due two his carnality and lot was in a back slitting state as well as you have stated and you said there was no indication that he ever reconciled with the Lord, so these men was in the Old Testament under the dispensation of law there was no Grace for sin like there is now so saying that would you say that they went to heaven, like Saul after committing suicide you think that he would go to heaven after that, that's a direct violation of the law at that time which was the dispensation that they was in, animal sacrificing for sins was was a priority of the utmost, what would you say about what i'm asking.
Every person that ends up in heaven got there the same way. They trusted in Jesus Christ for the payment of their sins. Old Testament believers looked forward to the Messiah (they didn't know his name but knew he would one day come). New Testament believers look back at what the messiah did. Read Hebrews 11, you will see everyone listed there was justified by Faith. Remember, prior to Moses the law had not yet been given. The sacrifices were a picture pointing to what Jesus Christ would do, but the sacrifices themselves did nothing to remove the sin as it says in Hebrews 10. Hebrews 10 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 2 Peter tells us that Lot was just, meaning he was justified / righteous. (Again, there was no Mosaic Law at this point). 2 Peter 2:7 - And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
I’m having trouble squaring John 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.” Can you please explain? Thanks!

What kind of works are they talking bout ? I don't get that part. That they think to add to Salvation .
@@theodoreritola7641Works of righteousness or works of the law , neither can save you
