Taurus have real nice guns. I own a PT 24 7 pro 9mm which I use in competition since 2012. 6,000 rounds and counting. No issues. Also have their PT 917 C berreta clone. A great gun.😁👍 for me better than a glock.

Yeah! i agree that budget guns are no problem, my taurus g3 got 800 rds and counting, i run it in practical shooting as my practice gun and runs no problem at all. Planning to get another pistol with a longer barrel as my competition gun.

If l may add an improvement idea is to trim the butt length so it will not print when carried on the hip. Only two magazine will be modified . The one on the pistol when carried, the other short magazine will be the 2nd carry mag. It will be resting empty in my drawer. .My SOP for magazines is to rotate every month so the spring will remain strong longer. The rest of the spare magazines will remain same length.

I did not try yet a ruger security 9, but for reliability and durability taurus g3 is good for the price, i run more than a thousand rounds already on the range and it is well and good , in terms of accuracy it depends on the shooter but for me a little bit shooting low left.
