More about: Bravestarr
A classic American animated western... On the distant, dry and desolate planet of New Texas, the discovery of Kerium, a rare and powerful magical crystal, brings an infinite number of colonists from all corners of the galaxy. The Mayor of New Texas petitions the Earth Council for help to control the outlaws. He needed an army of lawmen, a thousand, to rid the planet of criminals and bandits. They sent only one, but he was enough. His name was Marshall BraveStarr. With his mystical powers, BraveStarr can call on the power of animals to help him win his battles. He can use the strength of a bear to move a boulder, the speed of a puma to catch the criminals, the eyes of a hawk to see into the distance or a wolf’s acute hearing to listen to plots unfolding. Thirty-Thirty is his trusted partner against crime - a horse that can transform into a talking, human-like creature who can fight alongside BraveStarr in their many battles against the outlaws.

Best for cartoons and raving 😁👍
Time flies. Good times.
I'm 63 and still love this
We had the best childhoods with 80's Saturday cartoons
too bad it was never made into an arcade game
Yes we did
We definitely did.
i miss the 80-90’s so bad!! the weekend cartoons back then were epic af.
Agreed, I was lucky to be born in the 80's.
It brings tears into my eyes, no noub about it this show is 100 % nostalgia from my childhood
Same happening to me!
Same. Really an amazing feeling.💯
Same. The feeling is bitter sweet
Just give Jesus we are still here to remember our childhood memories ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
The good old days before internet and phones took over everyone's lives...its great to now show this to my boy - and tell him that this was my favourite show when i was his age
And he said like my kids dad's wants those strange cartoons he used to watch for Xmas
True, but thanks to phones and internet we're able to enjoy these wonderful classics again.
@@rudolphmcneill515 true, if it wasn't for youtube and the internet this would be lost forever
Was a kid when this cartoon came out on television. Wonderful and awesome memories. 😍❤️👍👍. Glad it found it's way on You Tube.🙂
XOXO love and love
I wish these cartoons were made into movies, I would buy a ticket in a heartbeat.
There is a Bravestarr movie
They probably wouldn't do them justice.
@@cocobunitacobuni8738 live action??
@samueljackson the white colonizer CEOs of Hollywood would NEVER allow it. (Probably also the reason why _Cadillacs & Dinosaurs,_ _Bureau of Alien Detectors,_ and other cartoons with POC main characters NEVER got significantly big). 🙁
~Southeast Asian here, curious about Native American culture

I was a 60's/70's kid and so missed these, as I was at university by the 80's. Thanks to TH-cam I'm loving them now, though!
I'm 46 years old. Love this show 💕💕🤩🤩. This brings me back to the good old days.😄😄
Filmation and the 80's go together so well.
Ummm. Ghostbusters (the one with the talking Ape) wasn't so great.
@@gorillaau the japanise studios just destroyed the american ones .
@@intel386DXThat's so true. I didn't think I'd ever see that comment.
@@rudolphmcneill515 I watched a video about animation and this was a conclusion. Just compare japanise and American animations during 70's, 80's and 90's
I talked to so many people my age who didn't remember this cartoon. I was starting to think, "I must be making this up". Maybe it just wasn't that popular, but I loved Bravestar as a child.
Same
I never seen it because it came on when I got out of school 3pm but had his toyn
When I was a kid this was awesome and it still is I am 42

Man did I miss Bravestarr... so glad it found it's way to TH-cam.
Years ago before everything was on the internet I had to find a bootleg VHS of episodes at a toy fair!
Me too me too
Galaxy Rangers was better
Same
I'm proudly South African but now I miss my childhood 😢 the 80s was the best generation
I love the wisdom the shaman always gives to Bravestarr
This is a Cartoon series, a cartoon series, this is MOVIE Quality. I know they used a Animation Cell system to minimize production cost but this is Beautiful.
OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SHOW FOR YEARS AND I COMPLETELY FORGOT THE NAME OF IT IM SO HAPPY I FOUND IT AGAIN!!!
Liked 💯👍
Man I miss this cartoon I miss all the cartoons from when I was a kid and the opening had such an 80s Trapper Keeper feel. I forgotten all about this until just a little bit ago I think I'm going to sit down with my son and watch these and try to find all the other old cartoons I used to watch
Agreed. They kids these days don’t know what they’re missing.
The 80s cartoons were the best😢 I miss you
Can we please get more classic Old school cartoons I’m 30 and never seen this before I’m hooked I missed out on cartoons like this and He-Man
I remember watching all the original cartoons at night with my uncle and my favorite brave starr
Remember the TV movie? Probably one of the best origin story movies for a cartoon.
I am 50 and still love it. We learn about good and bad.
I had so much fun back then watching this on qubo even Though I’m 15 it still gives me a kid felling so as watching he-man bravestarr and he-man are alike
What an amazing cartoon haven't seen this in over 30 years wow
4
Same here. Love it!
I didn't grow up to work from 9 - 5 every day like a drudge. I grew up so I can stay up late watching the cartoons I love and this is one of them. I love the simplicity of the themes and the fantastic animation. I think this was the last series by Filmation. There is no cartoon today that is as cool as Bravestar was. The secret to their enduring success was a recipte of great animation and storytelling. I know the market has moved on...but these will always be entertaining and enjoyable no matter what.
Why is it that my 50 years old self can still happily watch this old 80ies cartoon and cringe at the stuff that's out today. Thank you for sharing this🤗
My big bro loved this show....Saturday mornings where awesome in the days
Man! Do I miss these cartoons of the 80s me and my little brother would watch these cartoons in my 40s still watching
Now this is something that i did long for... Growing up watching brave star was one of my best time it one of my favorite anime of all time.
16 years old and this was my childhood I remember always watching these over and over.
I would like to thank whoever that has brought back a piece of my childhood Thank you for this ok !!
GREAT JOB !! 😮
Great cartoon of the past that deserves a place in today’s
Entertainment Industry!!
Moral fortitude and positive values are sure missing in today’s cartoons.
Again GREAT JOB on the COMMENTARY 😊
I'm a Texan... knowing that a planet would be named "New Texas" would be light-years beyond awesome!
Edit: I think the name for Bravestarr's horse companion (30/30) refers to the .30-30 Winchester round fired from the Winchester 96 lever-action rifle used by cowboys and frontier-men... just a thought.
Ooh. Thats cool
Didn't know!
duh
That sounds like a plausible explanation, good one!
Haha that's brilliant. I assumed it was the minutes on an hour,, since he is a horse half the time, and bipedal the other half.
That would be cool!
I cant believe i found bravestarr on youtube. I use to watch it as a child.
I grew up watching all good 80s shows this was my favorite
Definitely awesome!
yes I agree with you these are still the best to watch they are enjoyable and still fun to see better than the newer ones they are boring and I wish they would air them again.
Just a great memory. Glad I found it now I can share it with my kids

This show would come on the Qubo Tv channel, didn't know it was made in the 80s, me and my siblings would watch this when we were about 8, glad to have this in my childhood 😂
Man this does bring back memories & some tears to my eyes me and my Nephew use to watch this together we had are characters he like Bravestarr & I liked the horse thirty-thirty I wish he was still here he past away a few years ago. Also this was the FIRST cartoon to have a Native American as the lead Character.
Thank you for taking the time to do this. I used watch this as a kid. Now I can share these with my kids. Again thank you and God bless
Wi would watch BraweStarr with my son all the time. We had so much fun.
Im getting old 😢 i used to have a bunch of these toys, I remember this cartoon. I took my childhood for granted...😢
Happy Days! Good times! 😊
Bravestar, he-man, sheera, silverhawks, Thundercats. Kids this days don't know how happy we were back in the 1980s. Childhood at its best right there.
Erik - i have them all along with Centurions, M.A.S.K, and all the Transformer versions 😎

I watch this cartoon every time I get time to watch it
Who ever did this I love you for it❤️👍🏿
I grew up on the movie
Oh man, it's BraveStar 😅 i am 38 this year 2023..im from Sarawak state in Malaysia and i remember this as if it was yesterday. BraveStar was played on Malaysian tv for short brief of time in the 90s i remember.
I remember the action figures were amazing, I got some second hand and loved them. My 30 30 broke and I think my mum chucked the rest out.
They were awesome!
30/30 and SarahJane were no joke. His favorite saying “Let’s Stomp ‘em!”
I really like this series to bad they did not make a live movie of it, it would have been so great!
That would be rad!
THEY MIGHT DO IT PRETTY SOON. JUST LIKE. TRANSFORMERS&GI-JOE...
Nah, they wouldn't do it justice.
@rudolphmcneill515 if they chose the right cast you never know
You will never see cartoons like this again classic
I used to watch this coming from school everyday.
Till this day I still say "eye of the hawk" when trying to see far! 😂😂🤣🤣

Because of this post, I've been able to show my Girlfriend this show! She's the same age as me, she just didn't get to watch much Television as a child.
Wow 33 years later and I'm still watching like it was still 1990
Someone needs to do something with the Filmation catalogue, it's a gold mine.
Before there was a brave space marshal, there was a villain. When coming up with villains for the Filmation Ghostbusters series, one of them was a western villain called "Tex Hex", someone decided to pull the character from that show, and do a western type cartoon. The show would need a hero, and from there "Bravestarr" was developed.
Interesting.
I’m 16 my dad showed me this when I was like 6 and I still watch it I love the older cartoons
I'm 20 and I love it too. Top 3 cartoons. Bravestarr, he-man and thunder cats
Ah the 80s, where the native hero must have magical shaman powers 🤣
Why wouldn't he
O keep on trucking. I'm 57 n seems like yesterday I was 45. Good bless bre
Excellent show thanks
This was a great cartoon. So was Beverly Hills Teens and Barbie and the Rockers. He- Man!
6:25 Rigel 7 is the planet Kang and Kodos come from on the Simpsons. It was also in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. But Bravestarr predated both of those if I'm not mistaken.
It sure looks like STNG pulled a few episode ideas from here as well.
Kids today will never understand...cell phones didn't exist..even if they did..I still preferred my cartoons..
I want to show this to everyone who keeps saying "joSs wHEdoN inVENted teh spaCe WesTern!!"
Omg! !!!!! I remember this like it was yesterday. I remember BraveStarr because he had special powers he could summon.
Strength of a Bear, Speed of a Puma, Eyes of an Eagle,
Ears of a Wolf. That I remember distinctively.
Awesome show from the 80's
I was just 10 or 11 years old.
That Piece of Super Classic my friends. Thanks.
Thank you so so so so much for uploading this 💕
i used to run around with the speed of the puma. This hit right in my childhood
Lucas and Mark is a nod to the Rifleman
Now this would make a great movie superhero from another planet 🌍
Am i the only 16 year old here that watched this? This was on Qubo night owl at 2 am. And i somehow got away with staying up that late.
This is awesome! Thanks for posting this.
I remember this cartoon.. mainly the theme song. For some reason thought it came out before 1987 but Wikipedia says that's when it came out. Probably saw it on TV once or twice between 6th and 7th grade. Although wasn't really allowed to watch TV much then.. maybe it was an early Saturday or Sunday morning cartoon.. before parents got up LOL
Jhonny Quest was from the 60s but it had a pretty awesome intro for its time. I still remember it even though I watched it during the 80s.
I thought this cartoon was awesome, gonna watch all 10 episodes now.
Bravestarr
biker mice
silver hawks
Thunder cats
I can't belive they don't play this on TV any more kids need this now a days
FILMNATION... HE-MAN, SHE-RA, BRAVESTAR... AND I THINK THUNDERCATS AS WELL!!! 🤔💯
Used to watch this every Saturday. I also miss Bionic Six 👍
Filmation we miss you. Who remembers Tarzan?
Wish the cartoon s were like this again
Yeah. We got better animation and choreography but wasted on worst stories.
I didn’t know this show existed. Jason Brant wearing the t shirt got me here🎉
Still better than anything on Disney+🌈
Wish I still had my Marshall Bravestarr figure.
