Respectfully yous done well to done to get to the Final but as an answer to your “second best team in Scotland” as a hibs fan I definitely think that the loan signings we brought into the squad at the start of the year definitely suggests that we are the second best team in Scotland, I am not being biased or anything as I respect other teams (Except huns and hearts I despise them) but the stats from our loan signings say it all, kamberi 9 goals in 14 games, maclaren 8 goals aswell and scott Allan playing a class midfield role. Yes this is my opinion and I truly believe it but if anyone else has their opinion I’d be pleased to see it.

A squad put together for 10 grand shouldn't get anywhere near a domestic final, but we made it to 2 Finals in one season - only to come up against a multi-million pound giant. Should be very proud of yourselves MFC. And Goggsy, keep the chin up wee guy. I was 30 before seeing the lads in a Final.
Footnote:- perhaps if more of the 13,000 that turned out on Saturday went to FP more often, we could build a team for more than 10k. 😠

You all hate Celtic which is understandable as they are so dominant however their team has more academy products than Motherwell and the likes of Rogic and Dembele cost buttons. They are not Rangers, they earned it and didn't spend beyond their means and die.

Poor defending for both goals. Big Aldred could’ve kicked that clear for first goal the height he headed it at was too low to get any purchase and height on it. Then to let McGregor cut in between two of our midfielders and get his shot away . An outstretched leg or an obstruction bring him down he got between two took a touch and smashed it on half volley whilst our 2 stopped
Big Cedric turns his back at Nitchams strike if he stands still faces the ball up then it’s going nowhere.
McHugh was a yard short of the pace, gets caught on wrong side too often and in general needs to work on his ball distribution for me Tait is our Captain all day everyday and Robinson needs to make that change.
Charles Dunne Kept Forrest quiet all day, Bigi’s impact was needed could’ve possibly brought him on soon as it went 2-0
We miss the link between midfield and attack and that was Andy Rose and Tanner, they two in the side it’s a different game altogether.
Well done Celtic they were ruthless clinical good goals. I thought Dembele was outstanding even though he didn’t score he ran big Aldred ragged and should’ve had a pen when he was dragged down . And Boyata got to go fo that foul Cadden is gettin shot away he tried to stay on feet . Ref was poor against both sides
We missed Tanner hopefully he comes back better because before the injury he was flying

Shite result for us, can see the passion and heartbreak on your face and I can tell you I was exactly the same. Came this far and for us realistically the best chance we’ll have in a while but we bottled it as usual. Hopefully Tait can captain us next season as McHugh just doesn’t show up half the time.
