An interesting way to link it with the brain an abc list, I definitely try it out. I never felt a reason to learn everything word by word by hearth. On the topic you spoke about have look at Jeff Lowenfels teaming with fungi, microbes, bacteria. Also Paul stamets mycelium running how mushrooms can help save the world. It’s all about feeding the soil not the plants. Came into my mind while listening to your video explanation I’m looking into the zettelkasten system to do research on Mahayana Buddhism because its all about meditation, psychology and even science. Because I have fibromyalgia I want to learn more about the mind. The medical world can’t help me anymore, Because of my illness I live day and night in pain for the last 12 years. Due to the pain my brain doesn’t work that good by moments. I need to look into that Cawa to. I find it a very creative way to retain information thank you for sharing and hope to hear more from you. Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪 🙏🙏🙏
It's awesome that you like these techniques. Sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia. I hope some of the techniques can help you. Thanks for the resources. I'll check them out.
Hi, very interesting method! Did you invent it by yourself, or where you inspired by someone else's insights ? I would be very interested to have some references to books you found useful in order to elaborate you own thinking about thinking, learning and remembering.
This particular method was invented by Vera F. Birkenbihl. Unfortunately, she published mainly in German. She did publish an audio course in English called the Memory Optimizer sometime around 2000, but that seems no longer to be available. Some English books I can recommend are "How to solve it" by George Polya, "The creative mind: myths and mechanisms" by Magaret A. Boden, "The power of mindful learning" by Ellen J. Langer. Maybe you find some of them interesting.
@@bf-thinking Thank you very much for the book references. I read a little bit of german (french man here) so I'll try to find the book. Your channel is great. Keep on posting!
@@johndewey8316 You might be lucky, I seem to recall that some books of Birkenbihl have been translated into French (though I don't recall which ones and I don't know whether they're still being published). Otherwise, if your level of German is up to the task, I would also recommend "Stroh im Kopf?", "Das innere Archiv" and "Trotzdem Lehren". Beaucoup de succès!
Hi Martin, your note taking metod is just amazing. Keep your channel alive and inspired, I will follow it ever.
Many thanks! I'm glad you like it.
This was incredible. I will implement all your techniques.
Awesome that you like it! Let me know how it goes.

I think the voltage signaling relates to the leaves that fold themselves when threatened
That might be correct.
