She is not slurring her words. When you have fillers in your lips, they can't move and it makes her talk strangely. You can see only her mouth moves when she talks, not her lips.

Something sinister about Kate and the Captain. In a way one can understand the Captain's biased treatment of her due to the fact that she supported him and his family during the death of his son recently tbh. But having said that it's clear that Kate is utilizing his emotional feelings towards her to the fullest and occasionally blatantly abusing it and playing the captain to the tee wtf. Both Tanner and Ashton pointed it out on another panel discussion that Kate is shrewd and knew exactly how to manipulate both the Captain and the situations to her benefit, hence the reason why Capt Lee stormed off the reunion show after season 7 when he got confronted about his biased attitude. Such a shame.!!!!!
