You don't use earplugs so that the end-lag from the strong charge sweep gets cancelled by the roar? That's so clever, reminds me of all the little tricks you'd use to reload when fighting garuga with SA.
It's a bit sad that not many people will fully understand what's going on here. However, the ones that do see will see how smart the stagger cycling in this run. Very good job.
Can you explain what happened at 1:47 - 2:03? After a Strong Charge and Strong Sweep, you were able to stagger Teo with one Charge Slash when previously it took two more Charge Slashes to stagger. It happens two more times after this.
Teo's rage roar resets the stagger threshold, this time it didn't roar so the Strong charge + sweep counted and I only needed 1 charge to stagger it back again. When it rages roar, only the sweep counts so I need 1 charge + at least a draw attack.
So that's why you delay the Sweep! I thought it was strange that you delayed it since you wouldn't stagger Teo in the next hit, but I never thought it was because of that. Damn that's impressive.

I thought that the only way to lock enemies was to tap on their icon in the touchscreen, but seeing your runs seems you use just the main 3ds screen. I would like to play with just one screen like you do instead of having the main screen large and the second screen tiny in the right corner on the bottom.
I use the circle pad pro option the in-game settings. I do have the bottom screen at the bottom right, this layout's main screen is just as big as the Large screen layout. I just trimmed it because It might bother people. If you want to change the layout you can go to: Emulation>Configure>Graphics>Screen Layout or just press F10
Also big tipp for citra: in mh4u settings you can say that you use the right trigger to lock next target so yeah if you use a controller you don't need the 2nd screen to do that

Getting tripped by those powders causes u to lose momentum leading to missing out on a lvl 3 charge headstrike . just not a big fan of no rock steady GS set vs teo. Sometimes u could be hitting his wing part when im trying to aim for his head that shit is so annoying lol. His head is just too damn small.
Do you think you could share your Citra version and settings? Your game runs so smooth. I want to also emulate 4U but I want to make sure my settings are correct.
