Welcome back! So happy to hear that you were visited by mystery-muscle for your green house. What an uplifting surprise. It made me feel glad way over here in the USA! The plot looks good. Bye-bye, Bags of Evil (bindweed)! Fingers crossed for your bulbs 🌹
Isn't that lovely that likely your fellow gardeners helped with the greenhouse! They like you! No surprise! You should make time to sit and watch your garden. It is great for mental health.
Just a thought... In the back spot cover it over and put a little 6x4 shed there so you can sit have a cuppa and watch the birds and have a thinking spot, plot looks fantastic and it's defo come along way, you should be sooo proud.
I'm a 44 year old Australian woman who now lives in the UK and I find your videos so informative and helpful now that I am trying to grow in the UK :) Thank you xxx
Your plot is looking great Seren. I love this time of year when I can look year my plot and plan what to plant . Great to have fellow plot holders putting your greenhouse back on the bricks. They obviously like you !
Happy New Year!!! Looking forward to the new year! Good vibes are coming your way. There’s something about keeping the “entry” clear and vibrant to encourage good fortune enter the garden.😊
Just today I came home with 9 packets of different zinnia and sunflower seed varieties! For your back area, I would suggest putting something down to deter weeds, them having a row of birdfeeders and houses, since you enjoy them so much. You could also add a feeder that has a cage around it to keep out larger birds.
Greetings from Eastern Washington State, U.S.A. I've been catching up on your channel from the beginning and am in awe of all you've accomplished from start to now. Working in a garden is one of the things I miss now that I'm in an apartment. Getting an allotment sounds like a lot of hard work, but really rewarding. I look forward to seeing what you do this spring. Once you get the back area cleared, that one corner would make a great space for a storage bin for tools, etc. as well as a nice place to sit... you probably already have that in mind now that I'm thinking of it. 😊
All gardeners do a lot of standing around solving problems, thinking things through, and planning in our heads. Spiders don’t bother me but where I live we have a lot of garden snakes and I hate snakes!!
I missed you Seren! I too, stand and just look at my garden. I’m thinking about what I will be planting and what needs repair. Many years ago I read a book about the creative process (I don’t remember the title of the book), but it explained the time artists spend just thinking and not actually making can be termed as CREATIVE IDLENESS. How interesting is that! You are not wasting time when you do this. Right now, here in New York it is absolutely freezing. Windchill temperatures are about 25º Fahrenheit. We are expecting snow. So I just spend time at my window looking out to my garden and being creatively idle! I envy you for being able to go out to your allotment to do some work. I so enjoy seeing you on your journey. Looking forward to your next episode. ❤
Hi Seren, great to see you back on your plot. I find your videos so relaxing and comforting to watch and love seeing all the birds you have visiting ❤ looking forward to seeing what you get up to on your plot this year, it's looking fantastic 🎉
I think you should put a shed where you have been clearing. Put in a little camping stove, couple of chairs and table and sit and enjoy your work there
good to see you again i was worried about you. you look great with glasses. You will get it under control, learning what to plant and what not to is part of the experience.
The amount of time I stand around and just thing about where things could go or what new project I could start are incredible 😄 I suppose the creativ thinking parts always claims its time. I'm loogking forward to seeing yout garden this year! 😊 Have you started any seeds indoors yet?
Hi Seren! Any thoughts of putting down some weed block at the front of the plot and then putting some of the plants in buckets there? Like I see the fig is up there already, you could paint the old water butt and put it up there with some trailing flowers in it like petunias?
Happy New Year from 🇨🇦, Seren! I, too, have been spending a lot of time looking at my garden recently but from inside as it has been too cold outside. Hoping for an awesome gardening year for both of us!❤
I think the Robins and Squirells clubbed together one night and moved your greenhouse for you. Keep feeding them, you'll never know what they do next...
By watching TH-cam gardeners it keeps this older gardener going, on Saturdays do half a hour then rest, stop at 5 have a 2 hour break then work until am tired, first thing before work(work from home) garden 7.30 to 8 am Monday to Friday. Garden in New Zealand, summer at the moment,
People see how hard you’re working so they decided to help you out a little with the greenhouse. You should take that as a great compliment.
Standing around looking at things is one of the important things of gardening. Don't feel bad! ❤
Totally agree!!

Maybe you should put your shed in the back where all the nettles grow. It might be a pain to try to clear out all the weeds etc to grow plants.
I had a drum on my plot which I’ve cut in half to use for growing carrots, keeping them above the height of carrot root fly hopefully
Ahh I really wanted to be able to hop over there an give you a helping push and lift with that barrel 🥰

Nettles and comfrey can be cut down and put into your compost if it comes back

Perhaps the robin organized a work detail to reseat the greenhouse.

"Starting the jobs I do not want to do" - now that's a honest title if I ever saw one 🙃
@@georgecarlin2656 I guess it is 🙃😂😂
Go back and look at the plot the first time you saw it, you should should be soo proud of yourself 😂❤

It’s good to stop and evaluate your plot,You need a good size shed at the back😀
I was just thinking about how we haven't seen you for a while.
Another lovely video Seren 😊 I loved watching the birds too 🐦
Marestail is harmless to your plants .You just have to keep pulling it but it won't stop your flowers coming up Seren .
Great start for 2025 🎉well done you

Potty Mouth garden show is looking for a female allotment gardener for their show. I think you would be great on it.

I think you need a bonfire? 🤔 or a skip? 😄
Great to see you back on the plot... plotting and planning 👍🌷🌷🌻🌻
good to see you again i was worried about you. you look great with glasses. You will get it under control, learning what to plant and what not to is part of the experience.
also about the shower glass you could cut it with a glass cutter to replace the broken glass panes, if they fit thickness wise.
Lovely to spend time with you on your plot again Seren. You have achieved so much🌸🌿

Happy new growing season to you. You do keep the garden well. Nettle are a bind but they must be removed because they grow fast.

Congratulations on 10k! 👏 👏 👏
Put rodent wire under the bed as well as on top. It does work
I was just thinking the same thing.
All looking good. seren xxx love watching the birds 🐦
Good to see you back
Happy New Year x
Please don't disturb the hibernating creatures, you can clear that pile of wood after winter 😊

It was a balm! My garden is blanketed with 15cm of snow……..
