Hi Risa, I'm pleased to see what your doing by growing your own food. Next time put only one beet pod per hole, reason being... the pod contains more than one seed
Your garden is amazing, I can only harvest tomatoes, French beans, lettuce and fennel seeds right now. I'm still planting for the next few months and over wintering for harvest some for next spring.
@kath-phlox hi Kath I'm glad you're harvesting tomatoes I haven't harvest anything from mine I think it's too hot here in Jamaica right now. Thank you for watching I appreciate it too much..hope all is well with you ❤️❤️.
You are doing amazing things on your rooftop Risa. Your cabbage looks amazing, you harvested a lot of peppers. One of the benefits of gardening on a rooftop is having to deal with less pest issues. Do you have any bug issues regarding them eating your leafy greens?
@@risasgardentokitchen Yeah aphids can definitely be an issue. For me, because I don’t use any pesticides, netting is my solution. On top of that I periodically check the underside of my plant leaves. If you stop it before it becomes a huge issue, you’ll be in better shape for sure. Good luck.
@melclark281 Hi, thank you for your comment. I actuallee did Go ahead and pound the leaves from the bell pepper plant. I decided that I am not ready to pull them as yet.. And they already start to spring right back.♥️♥️
Great harvest Risa!❤

@melclark281 Yes, I normally put more than one seed because sometime they might not germinate So I normally would thin them out. To one plant.
