reason to use jumpstart nailgun- instant clear to the cerebi in the Weezer room IF you do the correct setup (3 magnets in middle of room, 10 saws orbiting the magnets, overheat nailgun alt fire one of the cerebi, begin the zap process)
what i'd like to do with the nailgun and its variants is to have every nailgun be standard except for the attactor. it speeds up the process for jumpstart and it automatically fills up the entirety of the overheat nailgun's charge! with this setup, you can quickly get into a horde, put in the standard nailgun jumpstart cable, (plus the magnets that gets put down) overheat the enemy i have attached it to, and go back to the attractor for basically an instant charge plus the overheat nails! almost every horde i have done this to in the cybergrind have been turned to dust or halved in the later waves. i use the saw attractor with the nail overheat and jumpstart. the magnets help with conduct and saws activate nail overheat anyway so why not have both
I mean I use both, I have sawblade for magnet and heatsink but I have nailgun on jumpstart just for that and I break the saw trap on purpose bc the sawblades also carry conductivity so a combo of both sawblades, heatsawblade and nails and they are all electrified does some really decent damage in a large area, however I might just switch heatsink for nails just to maximise projectiles in the area.

@@prep5181the overheat is actually the one that allows jumpstart to do the crap ton of damage, the nail cap of jumpstart is 60 nails and overheat is capable of doing in singlehandedly. And if you want to spray nail to random small enemies you should use jumpstart instead of attractor because there is no 100 nails cap. And in term of damage speed, you know that each saw hit reduce jumpstart wait time for 1 second right? So if you know you already set the nail you can switch to saw for faster conducting I suggest you to at least equip attractor saw because being able to do damage while you switch to other weapon is like free passive damage and doing heat-swap with saw + overheat nail is easier that nail + overheat nail

While I'm not here to argue with anyone, the stubborn dunce saying "Nailgun bad, Conductivity OP" and failing to get his point across is saying the Nailgun heavily relies on the damage from Conductivity which is false but you do spend half the video talking about it but it is a core mechanic of the Nailgun and it is split up into "What does it do" and "This brought the Nailgun's damage on par with other weapons" so that really isn't a problem and the one complaining has a shallow mind. You talking about the combination of coins and rockets making it chain to do ridiculous amounts of damage and it skyrocketing the style meter reminds me of when explosions skyrocketed the style meter. The damage of that tactic is extreme but it takes a lot of skill to do that everyone can't do. Have been using the Alt Jumpstart Nailgun only because I don't like having my reliable Attractor and Overheat nails being replaced by saws that aren't good in tight spaces. This video is good and gave me a mental exercise with that nonsensical comment down below. from my point of view as of now, no weapon is truly bad in this game from a wider perspective, it's all up to preference.
no, you're not talking about nailgun being good. you're talking about conductor. those are 2 separate things!!!! also, just me personally i don't really like conduction. i feel as if it's just too simple to set up and it gives wayyyy too much reward. i find fun in actually putting effort into things. however, i do like using the nails by themselves without the silly shocks since they're actually quite fun to me, not sure about others. i also happen to primarily play cybergrind, and saws kind of just get eaten up by the other enemies in higher waves + as you mentioned in the video, they require little effort and are quite frankly, boring as shit. not saying saws are bad, but they just kind of fall off in higher wave territory but are still very much good in waves maybe like 45 below?
I am talking about the nailgun. Nails are a central part about conductivity, so without the nailgun, conductivity damage would be extremely weak. I explain how conductivity is extremely strong because the nailgun allows the damage from conductivity to shred enemies. Anything related to conductivity is also related to the nailgun. Also what do you mean it's too simple to set up conductivity? It's one of the harder and more interesting techs to pull off, especially since you can use more conductables like chainsaws, frozen rockets, or coins to make it stronger.
@@prep5181 Nails aren’t essential for big damage conductions. Adding coins, magnets, and rockets are good enough to setup a decent conduction and if the setup is good enough you can get a bunch of conductor kills without nails, and saws also speed up the jumpstart cable so they are also pretty decent for conductor shenanigans. I do agree that good conductor setups can be pretty difficult but really satisfying.
@@prep5181 your title is INCREDIBLY misleading. i was expecting you to be talking about the nailguns themselves. instead, all i got was you praising conductor. yes, nails are useful for conductor setups. but you aren't talking about the weapons themselves, the nailGUN. you're talking about CONDUCTOR wiping out the whole cybergrind arena. and genuinely how do you find conductor difficult and interesting? it's merely placing magnets down, jumpstarting/erailing an enemy, and tossing coins. it's not intuitive whatsoever. its literally one of the most simple things to do in the game. magnets and coins are literally all you need as well. nothing else! the rest is excessive since those 2 conductor nodes by themselves are well enough to wipe out hordes of enemies (most of the wave) with close to zero effort.
@@prep5181 oh yeah, also upon rewatching the video you stated that the attractor and overheat variants simple were not worth using because "shotgun swapping does just as much". did you know shotgun swapping has a very short range? crazy, i know. nailguns are able to deal damage from much farther ranges via magnet usage and guess what, it deals just as much dps!!! shotgun swapping i don't find to be effective whatsoever in cybergrind since having to stay up in the enemy's face just to do good dps will probably get you killed more often than just jamming some magnets into the enemies and going brbrbrtbrbtrbrbtrbtbr with the nailguns. "the nailgun is good, actually" then you proceed to shit on the other 2 variants and praise jumpstart/conduction in general.

This video is good and gave me a mental exercise with that nonsensical comment down below. from my point of view as of now, no weapon is truly bad in this game from a wider perspective, it's all up to preference.
what comment do you happen to be talking about?
hey........ i recognise this type of title...............
is this from Uncle Dane?
You noticed ;)
at this point i guess that means there is no 'worst weapon'
personally i dont really like the sawblades, yeah sure its good damage but as a normal weapon? meh, only good at making traps
Wait......there are people who thought the nailgun was bad....???
There is only 1 gun id say is objectively bad and that’s the fire starter
That’s it
no, you're not talking about nailgun being good. you're talking about conductor. those are 2 separate things!!!! also, just me personally i don't really like conduction. i feel as if it's just too simple to set up and it gives wayyyy too much reward. i find fun in actually putting effort into things. however, i do like using the nails by themselves without the silly shocks since they're actually quite fun to me, not sure about others. i also happen to primarily play cybergrind, and saws kind of just get eaten up by the other enemies in higher waves + as you mentioned in the video, they require little effort and are quite frankly, boring as shit. not saying saws are bad, but they just kind of fall off in higher wave territory but are still very much good in waves maybe like 45 below?
@@migz1742 lmao its you
Ok, but, still not as strong as the whiplash, But that ewapons plain overpowered, it's damage really needs to be nerfed.
I play on a laptop
Piercer only better
people think it does???? whaat???? thats stupid
Nah the nailgun is bad(in the past)
