This was an excellent overview man! I have used FFM peg for many years for processing video and audio both. After much research years back when I started my podcast trying to figure out a way to convert video to mp3 easily, FFM peg is what I stumbled upon. It worked out really great as I had a raspberry pie for in my greenhouse running all the controls and I was able to outsource the processing to the raspberry pie. More recently. I use it for for processing video from my Google pixel which records in TS.mp4 format, very difficult to convert from my video editor through windows, but with FFM peg I created a script and I can batch process my files easily on my raspberry pi server. Anyway, cheers man!
Hi, thanks for the video. Is it possible to detect a 10 seconds black screen portion in my video ? I have a video with 45 minute duration. It contains 10 seconds break time in few places. I want to split this video in that position. There is no particular order for this breaks. It may appear in between any time gaps greater than 1 minute. Usually the video contains 5 breaks.
Nice video Eli. I'm a user of FFMPEG too. What I can't figure out till today is a working manifest (.mpd) file created with MP4Box and play it on my own html5 video or reference.dashif.org/dash.js/v3.1.2/samples/dash-if-reference-player/index.html Do you have a solution that works. It is a video that is nowhere to find on youtube and vimeo.
Thank you i was kid when i started watching your videos we have come long way
9:26 finally the end of the rambling and the dawn of ffmpeg…
