Headlamps of alto are equipped with beam adjusting motors, but no button or wiring installed to adjust them. Question is, if headlamps are locally produced why would they even install those motors in headlamps? Thanks

First of all i have a suggestion for you: you must dino test the new suzuki alto because there is a confusion regarding its horsepower figure some say it is 54hp and some sey it is 39hp.. Secondly i want to ask you if you hear any sort of hissing sound from the back of your alto specially when the tank is more than half tank full. I also have the alto and purchased it in August and i hear this hissing sound from the back left side.. showed it to my dealer and he said it is normal fuel pump noise which all alto vxl ags have

I'm not trying to defend the company here or anything but just looking at it with an open mind. It can also be the case that the company may have sold the cars for very low profits in the first few months to boost it sales especially since the auto industry was at a standstill at the time of launching the new Alto. Now that the car has made its place in the market and is beginning to be accepted, the company has increased its price to a level where it is able to make decent profits. And also, I find it difficult to believe that the whole engine assembly is being imported and is bolted right onto the car. More likely its CKD is being imported, assembled and installed in the car.
Letme Break it Down for you. 1- Alll japanese assemblers in pakistan work in FIFO basis, so they never hold inventory. Similar manner they never work in low profits, they picked up the money from market in april, 2019 and started giving deliveries in june 2019. 2- a CKD kit has an engine already assembled, bear in mind that no assembler in pakistan has the capacity to assemble the complete engine. The whole block comes in the CKD kit and bolted on to the car. 3- Thanks for having a healthy discussion and sharing a valid concern, unlike other people who just say boycott suzuki :P.
A good video mate. But let me clearify some things , when Pak Suzuki say localized it means locally assembled not manufactured! I am working at the company making HVAC, radiator, alternator and Wiring harness for PSMC and believe me all of the components of HVAC, Wiring harness etc are 100% imported so the dollar value as well the Pakistan's internal electricity, petrol, gas price etc have direct impact on the product costing. Also the parts that are manufactured in Pakistan have to be manufactured with imported raw materials and some times especially from Japan to produced the required Quality. You have already touched on the topic of "economics of scale" so...... There are many more things that goes into the final product costing "car price" but can't be written in a youtube comment......😏

I think Suzuki displayed a bullshit Localization display. Even in the 2020 models as per Suzuki headlight is local made. 1 week ago i inquired about the headlight, price was 15470 and wait time 30 days as headlight are being imported from Japan. Same quotations was given by Suzuki IG Motors and Suzuki Central Motors. As per the display the dashboard lcd frame is local made. I dont believe that for a second. Japanese Alto has the same beige color on the door panels and the dashboard while looking at the local Alto its obvious that the dashboard is completely from Japan looking at the finish and color as compared to the beige color on the door panels (The beige color on the doors is completely local third class and rough)

it will effect the avg. stick to stock tyres they are not that bad.
You can replace tires with imported soft tyres to give you better and smooth drive exp, stock tires are quite hard though.
