Thanks a lot,My villager base was 2 blocks high so they were not breeding for a long time,I tried everything, but I couldn"t make them breed. So,I increased the base height to 3 blocks. Now they are breeding
is it the same amount of bread? so also 12 bread or 12 carrots or is it less bread? and do both villagers need the same type of food can i give 1 villager carrots and the othher bread
3 bread or 12 carrots or 12 potatoes or 12 beetroots. They can have different types of food, but if one picks up all the food they won’t distribute it to other villagers.
Does it need to be a village cause I brought 4 home in reality 8 but my brother killed 2 by accident and 4 were his we split em. And now there living a hole in the side of a wall and it's roughly the same size of your house if not bigger
@@BigBoa07 oh my gosh you are a god sent miracle. I have been trying for days to figure out why they wouldn’t breed. Thank you so much. Countless TH-cam videos and not one said this
My villager breeder is 4 blocks high, has loads of beds and ive poured about 2 stacks of carrots in but they still wont breed :( both of the villagers are unemployed as well
I want to just let people know. I had the issue of where they would not breed no matter what. I'm playing a modded run through and it turned out it was the mod "Canary" remove it and it should all work as normal. I spent over 20 hours trying to fix this. I was losing my mind.
My villagers won’t breed. I’ve gave them bread and beetroot. 3+bread each and 12+ beetroot each, 3 beds and plenty of space. I’ve never had this problem before. Any tips?
Is your ceiling 3 blocks high? That is an issue. I would also just throw more food down as sometimes they just don't want to share until their inventories are full. Especially if one of them is a farmer.
I wasted a stack of bread before trying this😶 Edit: nevermind i made the roof higher and now they are pumping out babies, around 10 😂 Edit: I see more hearts...
Make sure that they aren’t trying to sleep in any other beds. Remove all of the beds from the village and just put 3 down where the villagers are. Also, try lots more food. Sometimes that’s all they need. Hope this helps!
@@MousePlays I just broke every bed and placed 4 down, 3 for the villagers and 1 for the baby and nothin. I dropped 2 stacks of carrots aswell. If I make a copy of this world and go thousands of blocks away and spawn villagers they still won’t breed.
@@MousePlays a lot of people say that but it’s the stupidest thing ever because you’d have to activate cheats to do that and why activate cheats to loose achievements? i found the problem it was that one of the villagers was just never gonna breed so i killed him and got a new villager and they had like 10 kids from the amount i fed them

I've wasted SO MUCH FOOD just get told i need 3 block high room.

Can you breed the villagers if they have jobs because i have been trying to breed them but its not working
Yoo tysm now I know why my villagers ain't breeding, it's because I made my room only 2 and a half tall

my villagers were so picky i had to move the beds then give them more food then needed
does it have to be carrots bcs it aint breading with wheat ig
No matter what I do I can’t seem to get villagers to breed I’ve tried many different designs and even this won’t work
Do they have beds? Do they have food? Is the ceiling 3 blocks tall? Are the villagers trying to get to a work block outside of your breeders design?
Mine won’t accept food
I keep giving them bread
Same
i had this exact same problem but i ended up having more villagers than beds so once i put down an extra bed they finally breed
My villager breeder is 4 blocks high, has loads of beds and ive poured about 2 stacks of carrots in but they still wont breed :( both of the villagers are unemployed as well
Check for the Mob Griefing game rule. If it is set to false, the villagers won’t breed.
@@MousePlays it isn't set to false
Then I’ve got nothing else, sorry.
@@bakaama1445it might be they are to close to a village and so they think that the village is full

Sorry for the delay, and yes, all villagers can breed. Whether they are unemployed, employed or nitwits. They just have a ~5 minute cooldown.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME
It did not work intially for me, but what made it working, was giving the villager a bunch of carrots. Maybe this can help you, who are struggling
These stupid villagers wont breed i have two none working ones 4 beds no ceiling food and they are far from everthing and they still wont breed
Man I wanted them to be cramped in a small cave under my house not a 3 block high mansion
😂
Thx just needed to place the bed
Thanks man.
My villagers have heart particles but dont get babies why?
blud i made a 2 block dirt place for them ty for helping
I tried but the villagers are too stubborn
Thank you
Thanks!
11 month later.. thanks man
Did I need to use carrot to make it work?
You can, or you can use potatoes, beets, or bread.

Is mobGriefing set to False? Villagers can’t breed unless they want to trade with you if mobGriefing is set to False.
@@MousePlays yes mob griefing is off
It’s saying that I have to turn on cheats and disable achievements to turn on mob griefing
help the cops are coming for me bc i bred baby villagers
Thank you bro ily
this mechanic is too complicated
How to spawn villagers when they all despawn in a village?
You have to find a new village, or cheat in villager spawn eggs. They don’t spawn back.
You can find zombified villagers and cure them. Those spawn from time to time like zombies.
for some reason everything is right and they still aren’t breeding
Try checking the MobGriefing game rule. If MobGriefing is turned off they will not breed sometimes.
