When I re did my maths at college, I only got a B because I turned over the middle pages wit out realising it, and I only did a little of my homework too. If I had knuckled down I could have got the top grade!!!! I supposed a level 4 in English 3 B's and a merit will be adequate for now.
yes bro, use maths genie its extremely useful has every single topic with in depth explanations, active video lessons, separate exam style questions and has a boatload of resources on it as well , if your crunched for time just put the video in 1.25x speed lol. genuinely I used maths genie for 4 weeks before November mocks and I went from a low grade 5 to 4 marks off a grade 7, just remember maths is a subject you have to practice or you wont learn anything so I recommend doing 1 practice paper every week on top of the practice questions on the topics/videos you learnt/watched. good luck
For science, learn your textbooks (the one endorsed by the exam board you're taking exam with) inside and out. Do this by taking one chapter per day, reading the chapter 3 times until you understand the information and think you can remember it. Close your text book and get a blank piece of paper. Write down everything you can remember in your own words. Check the textbook to see what you've misundertood or missed out on remembering. Do this chapter by chapter till you finish the unit/textbook. Then do all the past exam papers available 2 times each *minimum*, 3 times each ideally. With maths, do all the questions in your textbook, then do all the past exam papers twice minimum. If you do this you'll get straight A*s forget about As.
hi, yk how people jus say to go straight ahead with the past paper questions, do you think i should do them even tho i have gaps in my knowledge or should i cover every spec point first and then go ahead ?

Ur in yr10 u still have a lot of time it’s good have come the realisation now. Do not worry too much make sure u pay attention in each class and understand everything u learn if not ask for help. Ask ur teachers to help you make a time table and how long they would want u to spend on each subject. Focus on the ones u know ur lacking in so u have it strong by year 11, don’t burn urself out either

How do you revise and do better in computer science paper 2(I’m doing OCR and paper 2 is programming part of the curriculum).I struggle with remebering the code and stuff and still haven’t learnt all the code needed
im doing OCR as well, and honestly i find paper 2 easier. just do lots of practise on SQL, python or whatever language you use, make sure to practise procedures, opening files, just check past papers, and do all the coding questions. memorising the coding will not help at all. half the CS students dont know how to code, that's why they lose marks on paper 2. the code will get you the most marks, and once you get the hang of it, it'll be the easiest part of paper 2
