      @@clayitnow I am just now seeing this video and I was wondering something. If you do any sanding on the rose to make the petals smoother before you paint it or if you are leaving it the natural color of the salt dough do you sand anything on it then either? Thanks for the well done video. I don't think I will ever get all of your videos watched, but I'm saving each one of them to help me in my ventures of making some things.

    If you pinch the tips of the petals after they’re on, thinning them on the edges, it’ll look better.

    how long does it take for the dough to dry in the sun

      Oh.. For this one, it took me more than e week to dry the whole rose. I put thia at my window's sill. But, really it depends on humidity in your place too. My place is very dry. Alternatively, make baked salt dough. I've found that baked salt dough is better.

    A question? Why does the salt dough texture look a bit rough when dry?

    • @clayitnow

      That's because of the salt :) You can use grinder to refine the salt texture or use craft sanding paper to smoother the salt dough surface.

    How to prevent mold from setting in on the rose ?

    • @clayitnow
      @clayitnow  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have not experience mold growing on dried salt dough :)
