It's actually so tragic, Cole and Phoebe. Like, he didn't want to become the Source...he was born a half-demon...and no matter how much "evil" was in him, his love for Phoebe was so encompassing. He became the Source while trying to save her. He gave up his demon half and risked his life to be with her. And, even at the end, he hesitated killing her sisters (like you said, he easily could have), he could maybe have even escaped while she was in the bathroom...but Cole would not have left Phoebe. He couldn't. Because his love for her changed him fundamentally...it became his core, hence the Seer's insistence that it conflicted with his Source side. And Love is good, inherently. Love, as we saw with the Cupid episode, can't be killed. It's just so beautiful and so tragic.
Yeah, see here’s the real lesson of cole and phoebe, Love is not enough, Bad guys can love you or say they love you spoil you and then treat other people like crap. Eventually they will turn on you too. It’s called a toxic relationship Where are you? Do you love the person you really do and they love you. They’re just not good for you. They can’t overcome the parts of them that like to do bad things And love is not enough being in love with somebody it’s not enough to ignore all the red flags. It’s not a reason to stick out a relationship that is hurting you.

Love these 2 episodes! It was Cole's love for Phoebe that overpowered the Source, giving Phoebe the power to see the Source's experiences. Cole defeated the Source. He almost stripped himself of the Source until Phoebe killed the Wizard. Cole's tragedy is that the Seer doomed him from the start.
This whole arc with Phoebe and Cole was PEAK Charmed for me and the reason why season 4 is my fav season( well it’s a toss up between this and season 3).
Evil took advantage of Prue not being there basically - she was the leader and without her the heirarchy within the power of three changed, and evil took that and ran with it, took advantage of their vulnerable state and its what Cole/The Source used to drive them apart because he knew the bond with Paige was still new and not as secure.
I mean, Phoebe said it in the last episode...her past self was evil...she has a tendency to go evil for the man she loves, what can we do. that last scene is one of the cutest in the whole show. is not usual that we see them like that, and it was nit just seeing them hugging in silence, just being there, when Phoebe needs them but yes, in a way they did poor Cole dirty. Like, cmon, the dude literally was gonna give up the power and they stopped him, Cole had literally chosen Phoebe and being good...dammit
I also liked the beautiful moment the sisters had, some may argue the power of three had a better bond with Prue but regardless they still had some very beautiful moments with Paige
We're Off To See The Wizard is kind of funny in that, had Phoebe not stopped the transfer, so very much that's coming down the line wouldn't have happened. And Cole would be happier (which he obviously isn't here, not fully). That said, Evil Pheebs is very much a vibe.
Phoebe's mini-bangs are the worst evil in this season!! 😂 Phoebe screwed up big time when she killed the wizard. 🙃 It's fun to watch evil Phoebe again even if it was very short-lived. I love the sisterhood, especially when Piper and Paige are comforting Phoebe. 💜

Ugh I wished we had that Evil Queen storyline go on for a bit more, it was just starting to become intersting. Such a vibe. Regardless, that scene is easily one of the best vanquishes of the show, everything is so great, the spell, the emotions from each side, the big explosion, and then we have this touching sister scene to end. What an episode. Season 4 wasn't playing around! Regarding the wizard, I think Phoebe was heavily manipulated by everything. Let's not forget that we know that she was born in the house which is a battlefield between good and evil, so she can turn either way easier than her sisters. It was teased many times through the seasons. Can't wait to see your reactions on how the season is ending!

Happy "Charmed" Saturday evening with Cody & Sergio! 🔮✨️ These are two of my favorite episodes. Episode 4x19: 2:42 I knew that you two would recognize Armin Shimerman as the Wizard. Every time I watch this episode I always think of our favorite principle from "Buffy". LOL! The Wizard asks the Charmed Ones for help. And Phoebe gets a dark new power. Episode 4x20: Piper and Paige deal with the fallout from losing Phoebe, who becomes Queen of the Underworld alongside Cole. More great acting from Holly Marie Combs as Piper deals with that. In the end, Phoebe must make a default choice. Already looking forward to the episodes for next week. And then on to season 5. 😊
It's bittersweet to see the assistant (sorry I forgot your name babes 😂) go. She was so cunning, she definitely deserves a best employee in Hell award for sure. I always feel bad for Cole because he's never not been taken advantage of. He's chosen humanity so many times but he's constantly being manipulated by evil.
As the evil started to grow inside phoebe and cole bubbling through the sources power it allowed her to have the premonition to finally see he was evil again. The sources magic was cloaking it before
It's sad and kinda twisted, but also Pheobe's fault if she's stuck between good and evil. Cole wanted to be good for her and their baby and was literally in the process of giving his powers up and she killed the wizard.
They are smart they are just fighting a powerful seer who is able to manipulate and pivot real time before they can grasp what is happening . Also it was the perfect storm because of what went down with Cole and the sisters first round , second round lol they had to give Cole some grace it just so happen to be the wrong d@mn time lol 😂 to do so
My issue with this storyline is the fallout of it, Phoebe up to this point has become the worst in regards to the Cole situation. She started getting bad in Season 3, especially any time she had an argument with Prue over Cole where she would throw her mistrust in Prue's face, even if Prue tried to understand. And then acting so love dumb in regards to things or acting selfish such as episodes like 3x5, 3x7, 3x8 and the later half of Season 3 (especially episodes 19-22) while she certainly had her moments where you could see her side (the Wrestling episode) she was always so hypocritical and selfish. Then Paige came along in Season 4, honestly Phoebe wasn't bad in the first half of the season, they improved her from Season 3 and I actually liked how her moments about Cole were just about things such as getting cold feet when he proposes or how she tries to get a woman who's husband he murdered when he was evil to see the good in Cole, advocating his good side. Her relationship was a more postitive edge, and while I'm all down for their relationship to end in tragedy as you can make a good story out of it, but the fallout and Phoebe's attitude are the main issues. After they defeat the source in 4x13 her character changes and becomes to me the most annoying character on the show and the trajectory of her character changes. Her attitude regarding Cole becomes annoying like in Season 3, except worst. While there are flaws with Paige's logic regarding Cole (her sudden mistrust in him felt more like a holdover from Prue rather than a legit shift in character and sudden leaps in logic) how Phoebe acts is worse. Not only does she refuse to believe anything or ignore obvious signs, she acts dismissive toward Paige any time she suspects or brings up something about Cole. (For me, one of the worst offenders was in Bite Me where she gets mad at Paige for orbing into the penthouse, even though she was trying to help Piper) yet the moment Phoebe suspects something is evil about Cole or straight up says he is evil she instantly shifts to thinking Cole won't change or that he's iredeemably evil, which to me feels like its okay if Phoebe feels Cole is evil, but if Prue or Paige do its suddenly a problem. It also doesn't help that she gaslights Cole and sabotages him whenever she does this. Like in Exit Strategy (3X20), she breaks the potion that could've stripped his powers out of spite because he was being controlled into killing that witch, and in this case when Cole is about to give up his powers regaining his control from the source's influence Phoebe makes the choice to vanquish the wizard and become queen of the underworld. Thus dooming Cole to being evil when he was literally moments away from getting rid of it, which could've saved himself and Phoebe. The Seer and even Cole himself say Phoebe made this choice herself, even Piper says it. And even if people want to use the evil baby as an excuse, both Phoebe and Cole where being influenced by evil, yet after this point everyone, especially Phoebe acts as if the whole thing was Cole's fault, like he just decided he was evil on a dime. Ignoring the fact he was tricked by the seer to become the source which only happened because he saved the Charmed Ones from the Source in 4x13, he didn't take in the hollow or do it with any knowledge to gain power or become evil he did it to save the Charmed Ones. Even while he was under influence by the source Cole always intervened to save them when they were in danger, like regaining control to save Paige in 4x16 or straight up not killing either sister when he had the chance to in their sleep in the wedding episode. I also don't like how once Phoebe decides she doesn't want to be evil, she decides the only thing to do for Cole is to vanquish him, they don't try to stop the influence of the source or anything, just vanquish him. The fact Cole and the Seer are right about Phoebe and even Piper should say a lot, not only that she doesn't really act any different as a person when she is queen, because she doesn't murder anybody, she hangs out in her place, complains a lot, making everything about herself. Outside of those complains, I DO like the element of a Charmed One going evil because I always like stories that dabble in what if the hero gets a taste of the other side, and we only get one episode where she gets to be evil. And you can tell Alyssa plays up evil Phoebe quite well. I also think Piper's reaction makes sense, and seeing her compliment Paige on her persistence was a nice sister moment when they were in a situation filled with bleakness.
I feel like if Phoebe wanted to be married to Cole AND be a Charmed One, she shouldn't have prevented him from getting rid of his Source powers, but... that's just where I'm at.
Prue absolutely would have busted in that condo and dragged phoebe away from Cole 💀 I always thought the end of this season would have been even better if Prue had returned to help Piper & Paige vanquish the source at the end of this episode
I am mad at Phoebe for choosing Cole over her sisters she eventually does side with them again after Cole was vanquished but she should've sided with her family instead of her husband who was being possessed by the source Phoebe was wrong for choosing to be evil.

At least she’s consistent 😂🙌🏼 Oof demon uprising? Dane calling him out in front of everyone. They really said do it yourself Source 💀 Paige showing so much growth. This plan seemed too easy. Cole shapeshifting into Phoebe to take out the innocent was wild! Cole having her drink the tonic knowing the sisters would show up! The showdown at the end! Vanquishing Cole! 🤯 The sister hug at the end 💚 I can’t even with all the chaos in these episodes. I have no idea what’s gonna happen next & I love that. I’m just gonna imagine more drama, tear & chaos. The character developments thus far have been great. The endings of each season just keep leveling up! Absolutely amazing reactions y’all 🖤

These are two of my favorite episodes.
Episode 4x19: 2:42 I knew that you two would recognize Armin Shimerman as the Wizard. Every time I watch this episode I always think of our favorite principle from "Buffy". LOL! The Wizard asks the Charmed Ones for help. And Phoebe gets a dark new power.
Episode 4x20: Piper and Paige deal with the fallout from losing Phoebe, who becomes Queen of the Underworld alongside Cole. More great acting from Holly Marie Combs as Piper deals with that. In the end, Phoebe must make a default choice.
Already looking forward to the episodes for next week. And then on to season 5. 😊
It's bittersweet to see the assistant (sorry I forgot your name babes 😂) go. She was so cunning, she definitely deserves a best employee in Hell award for sure.
I always feel bad for Cole because he's never not been taken advantage of. He's chosen humanity so many times but he's constantly being manipulated by evil.
As the evil started to grow inside phoebe and cole bubbling through the sources power it allowed her to have the premonition to finally see he was evil again. The sources magic was cloaking it before

It's sad and kinda twisted, but also Pheobe's fault if she's stuck between good and evil. Cole wanted to be good for her and their baby and was literally in the process of giving his powers up and she killed the wizard.

They are smart they are just fighting a powerful seer who is able to manipulate and pivot real time before they can grasp what is happening . Also it was the perfect storm because of what went down with Cole and the sisters first round , second round lol they had to give Cole some grace it just so happen to be the wrong d@mn time lol 😂 to do so

My issue with this storyline is the fallout of it, Phoebe up to this point has become the worst in regards to the Cole situation. She started getting bad in Season 3, especially any time she had an argument with Prue over Cole where she would throw her mistrust in Prue's face, even if Prue tried to understand. And then acting so love dumb in regards to things or acting selfish such as episodes like 3x5, 3x7, 3x8 and the later half of Season 3 (especially episodes 19-22) while she certainly had her moments where you could see her side (the Wrestling episode) she was always so hypocritical and selfish. Then Paige came along in Season 4, honestly Phoebe wasn't bad in the first half of the season, they improved her from Season 3 and I actually liked how her moments about Cole were just about things such as getting cold feet when he proposes or how she tries to get a woman who's husband he murdered when he was evil to see the good in Cole, advocating his good side. Her relationship was a more postitive edge, and while I'm all down for their relationship to end in tragedy as you can make a good story out of it, but the fallout and Phoebe's attitude are the main issues.
After they defeat the source in 4x13 her character changes and becomes to me the most annoying character on the show and the trajectory of her character changes. Her attitude regarding Cole becomes annoying like in Season 3, except worst. While there are flaws with Paige's logic regarding Cole (her sudden mistrust in him felt more like a holdover from Prue rather than a legit shift in character and sudden leaps in logic) how Phoebe acts is worse. Not only does she refuse to believe anything or ignore obvious signs, she acts dismissive toward Paige any time she suspects or brings up something about Cole. (For me, one of the worst offenders was in Bite Me where she gets mad at Paige for orbing into the penthouse, even though she was trying to help Piper) yet the moment Phoebe suspects something is evil about Cole or straight up says he is evil she instantly shifts to thinking Cole won't change or that he's iredeemably evil, which to me feels like its okay if Phoebe feels Cole is evil, but if Prue or Paige do its suddenly a problem. It also doesn't help that she gaslights Cole and sabotages him whenever she does this. Like in Exit Strategy (3X20), she breaks the potion that could've stripped his powers out of spite because he was being controlled into killing that witch, and in this case when Cole is about to give up his powers regaining his control from the source's influence Phoebe makes the choice to vanquish the wizard and become queen of the underworld. Thus dooming Cole to being evil when he was literally moments away from getting rid of it, which could've saved himself and Phoebe.
The Seer and even Cole himself say Phoebe made this choice herself, even Piper says it. And even if people want to use the evil baby as an excuse, both Phoebe and Cole where being influenced by evil, yet after this point everyone, especially Phoebe acts as if the whole thing was Cole's fault, like he just decided he was evil on a dime. Ignoring the fact he was tricked by the seer to become the source which only happened because he saved the Charmed Ones from the Source in 4x13, he didn't take in the hollow or do it with any knowledge to gain power or become evil he did it to save the Charmed Ones. Even while he was under influence by the source Cole always intervened to save them when they were in danger, like regaining control to save Paige in 4x16 or straight up not killing either sister when he had the chance to in their sleep in the wedding episode. I also don't like how once Phoebe decides she doesn't want to be evil, she decides the only thing to do for Cole is to vanquish him, they don't try to stop the influence of the source or anything, just vanquish him. The fact Cole and the Seer are right about Phoebe and even Piper should say a lot, not only that she doesn't really act any different as a person when she is queen, because she doesn't murder anybody, she hangs out in her place, complains a lot, making everything about herself.
Outside of those complains, I DO like the element of a Charmed One going evil because I always like stories that dabble in what if the hero gets a taste of the other side, and we only get one episode where she gets to be evil. And you can tell Alyssa plays up evil Phoebe quite well. I also think Piper's reaction makes sense, and seeing her compliment Paige on her persistence was a nice sister moment when they were in a situation filled with bleakness.
The seer was the truth villain of 4B, unfortunately phoebes sight was no where near the seer’s power.
It's his fault.. technically the future Phoebe told him what was going to happen...he didn't listen
I feel like if Phoebe wanted to be married to Cole AND be a Charmed One, she shouldn't have prevented him from getting rid of his Source powers, but... that's just where I'm at.
Prue would have stopped Phoebe and Cole if she was still alive

I am mad at Phoebe for choosing Cole over her sisters she eventually does side with them again after Cole was vanquished but she should've sided with her family instead of her husband who was being possessed by the source Phoebe was wrong for choosing to be evil.
Choosing Cole worked more as a perfect twist because she always chose her sisters before this. But she would always have the Power of 3 as a whole.
She was being influenced by the seers tonic and the baby😵💫 not as simple. No one takes this into consideration, just Phoebe hate train.
