In celebration of Lazulight's first anniversary, fans from the different Lazulight Fan Discord servers have come together to sing and make music, covering Lazulight's famous, twerkable, banger of a song, Diamond City Lights.
We'd like to thank Finana, Pomu, and Elira for being a big inspiration to all of us, and for being a great source of joy and happiness. We also thank everyone who has worked hard to complete this project. Without the passion and effort of these fans, all of this would not have been possible. Thank you.

The taiga part was so emotional...
It hit me the first time I heard it. I remember recording my take for that back in the beginning of the year and my god I was so loud. I forgot to close my door too and didnt notice till the end lmaooo
I saw this comment below before watching that part and I thought you were being sarcastic and it was gonna be a silly lighthearted part but dang it also made me emotional 😭

I was there when DLC started premiering and the moment "The day I opened up memory's door" line begun i knew this was a before and after in Nijisanji history.
Ready for the tears and cries of joy seeing this. The description is simply perfect and i sure Lazulight would absolutely love this gift for sure made with all the love of clippers corner and us the fans.

This brought me to absolute tears. DCL is such a wonderful, hopeful melody of friendship and love that encourages everyone to look to the brightest side of every moment. It released when the world was in the midst of a dark time (we still are, to be honest) in which many people felt alone in their troubles. It was when people needed that light the most.
I was one of those people until I found out about VTubers. Watching people who used character designers’ passion for art as a proxy to show the world their wonderful personalities instead of appearing in real life was so interesting to me. And then I found about NijiEN through Selen and, not long after, found Lazulight and its dork fairy, seiso feesh, and sheesh dragon. The rest is history, and now I can’t count on my hands and feet how many different talents I keep tabs on (inside and outside Niji because I just love them all so much.
It was all because of Diamond City Lights. I listened to that damn song, and I couldn’t get it out of my head for weeks. It still helps me keep my head on my shoulders and just feel good in general. It probably seems hard for them to believe, but I hope Pomu, Finana, and Elira realize just how many lives they’ve touched with their voices

Thanks everyone involved for working on this! I was always lowkey jealous of people that did fan projects. So, I was finally inspired to participate in Lazulight ones. Life feels somewhat brighter now-a-days I guess I have a certain Sky Dragon, Forest Fairy, and Tropical Mermaid to thank for that.

Thank you Lazulight for accompanying us for a year! Thank you to them for building a wonderful fan community and letting the entire world learn about Nijisanji. The fan chant was something amazing to hear, and it got me feeling so nostalgic and happy.
