One of the many allures about these kyosho kits. Still very light but you can feel the quality when you hold and drive them. No chassis flex whatsoever. Appreciate the support 👍
you will love driving this . i used threadlock. unfortunately to much on my beetle build as i stripped a screw. i’ve found the huge grub screws locking the suspension bar in will come loose without the tl.
Thanks mate. Yeah I’m crazy looking forward to getting this thing out. I was a little heavy with the blue tl on those front grub screws as I know exactly what you’re talking about.. Insane how solid and heavy feeling she is. A significant weight difference over the beetle. Part of me wishes I went with a 15t motor but will see how this 17t performs. Still want some good torque with the big tires.. As always thanks for watching mate 🤟✌️
Only thing about Kyosho is they've taken some of the fun out of the build by preassembling some of the kit, especially the differential, but there is the fact that anything preassembled should be taken apart and checked for grease!!!
100% agreed. I’ve notice this on the scorpion/beetle 2wd legendary platforms. I took apart the diffs and there definitely wasn’t the amount of grease in it that I like. I’d recommend this even on RTR kits.. Thanks for sharing and watching 👍
@@NoNoRc You bet cha thank You for your reply. Also, I've got the Turbo Scorpion in the box, it's pack so beautifully I don't want to open it, but I well.
lol! that’s a constant struggle I have with all my kits. You’ll never get that back one you open them. And once they are built, you never get to experience it again. Well, unless you afford multiple of the same kit haha. Which currently I can’t. 👍
Love this chassis. The extensive use of metal instead of plastic is just great.

That front axle I thought was a little tricky. If it's not at the right angle the suspension is out of wack. The build video is coming out great!
Yes for sure, super important. It’s old school but it works👍. Crazy how heavy and solid it is. Especially over the beetle.. Thanks my friend
