I bought up all the retail 151 in my area . sealed mini tins at 9.99 each. I wont disclose how much but its alot These little guys IMO go to 50 a pop. Yep 151 just has crazy demand and there isnt the supply. A reprint i will gladly accumulate more at retail and hopefully under. my main goal now that I have ALOT of 151 , base wtoc and one of each etb is buying booster box cases like paradox rift. they were about 75 a box and I got obsidian flame and paldean evolved at the same price. I found it strange that so many vendors were dumping under what they paid for it imo.idk if they were scared or if they were just getting liquidity for the next future sets/mitigate risk
Yeah I think 151 is a pretty safe bet. That usually always happens with those sets that don’t have a lot of hype they sell a bunch at release and then when the release hype dies down they offload for the new sets that are upcoming. Then they rinse and repeat. I’m assuming they’d already made a decent profit from opening week/month so offloading at no profit/small loss just gave them the cash to put into the newest sets. I would hold it personally. It’s really up to you though if you believe it will go up and you don’t need the money right now I’d say hold. If you’re trying to realize profits, let’s say you bought it at 39.99 msrp and you sell it now for double you’ll actually realize those profits. If you use eBay or another selling platform it would be less with fees and shipping but if you sell locally in person it could be the full gain. It really depends on what you need right now and what you’re looking to do with your investments. I personally think that box will be 100 to 120 range in the next year or so.
