Actually really fun to watch. It’s enjoyable watching someone as skilled at card battlers as Frost learn a new game. I would definitely watch this again.

@@ZamWeazle The first fight isnt a boss battle, its just a battle. The first boss battle is the 3rd battle overall and can be the Fuck You Snowmen of the Fire Monkey
@@bigcupodisapointment it's weird as when I played the demo., after the first battles they clearly give the last guys an entrence implying that this is a boss. Yet apparently they are not a boss. A bit odd from a design/presentation perspective!
@@ZamWeazle The way I see it is those are the "bosses" for the fight, but it's not a boss battle if that makes sense.

A couple disclaimers though, just to make sure you don't learn the answers to important questions for the game the hard way:
-The actual order of operation between effects and hits is convoluted and not well explained for the most part. While attacks mostly go off first and the effects follow after, there are some companions and enemies that mix it up for the sake of balancing (re: Muncher and Bombom). You're gonna have to trial and error your way through this whether you like it or not.
- The tooltip for Barrage and Aimless is weird. The rows are actually split between the enemy and ally sides so when an effect talks about things in the row it specifies which side by prefacing with Enemy and/or Ally in the text. The tooltips for the aforementioned keywords don't because they assume you understand allies always attack enemies even though those same keywords are put in treasures which can target either side.
- 0 damage treasures and allies trigger When Hit effects but don't clear Demonize! I've lost a couple runs learning this one.
- Draw effects are incredibly powerful. Period. They fit everywhere and enable some very funny strategies.
- There is no hand size. Technically it's what you draw with the bell because there are very few cards that actually draw independently from it. The only maximum that exists (about 50+) is there because at some point in an infinite the game just doesn't let you pick up the cards and you have to restart the combat.

This games looks so sick. Pls more. The graphics are incredible, and the gameplay is so sick. I love the concept behind this, it rivals the gameplay loop of sts

This game do seem really cool, lots of interesting synergy and bosses that often counter certain strats which probably lends to it being so hard
I normally don't comment, but I absolutely loved this game and would want to see more!

Actually, the first run is the *most* winnable compared to the starting decks you get. It's just that most people don't know how to play, nor do they know what cards are good lol.

you should try to kill all enemies in every combat and try to kill as many as possible in a single turn because money.

That was a really good first real run. Most people don’t make it more than a couple fights on the first run after the tutorial. It’s almost like you’re good at these kinds of games 😂
