I don't know if we should consider it more than a joke event, but I'll say three words: Space Ishtar's Valentine. Her event comes after Goetia, and Fou talks to us AND rewinds time more than once to survive all 3 of Spishtar's persona's anger. What made me feel this was sus is that, if this were just for the fun of it, why does Fou makes Guda forget and plays dumb afterwards to hide his intervention? For me, at least this shows Fou is keeping his powers/intelligence hidden. The latter being more obvious in events and story.
Fou's immediately hostile reaction to Koyanskaya in the Lostbelt prologue was the first tip-off to me that he may have retained or recovered at least some of who he was. We may not expect another miracle like he pulled after the fight with Goetia, but something is there that may end up being important later.
I’d like to think that Fou might have a huge part in Ordeal Call assuming we get one that involves the beasts that pop up in the games or y’know Primate Murder shows up
What dissapointed me in Fous story was, that it was barely ever sayed, what he is. I allways woundered, why Merlin called him Caith Plug, and no one cared about that (later are Lancelot and Gawain mention the name to). Or, that other deitys sayed, he is a beast and should be removed and no one cared about that comments. Or, that Fou was able to teleport Anna away, by the fight again Gorgon. Ok, at the start of the story was it allready mentioned, that they dont know, what he is and think, that he is a magical beast, that was found by the director. They could at last explain Caith Plug, for people, who dont know that legend/story (i needed wikipedia to learn more about that, and forgot, that Caith even showed up in "7 deadly sins" manga.
Yeah, they could've managed it better. I mean, Cath Palug isn't Fate exclusive, as it's actually related to some Arthurian legends, poems and songs i believe (?. Unfortunately, as I didn't knew a thing about it, I searched the web, but the first result I got back then was Fate-related so I spoiled myself Fou was Primate murder and I couldn't see the little critter the same ever again (until after Solomon that is). But yeah, they could've managed Fou better. At least make Merlin explaining vaguely that Cath Palug was a magical beast from welsh lore and that could've been good enough until the reveal at Solomon's.
On the topic of merlin being sus: in arcade during the Draco event, Draco in her beast form calls proto merlin a beast of the planet. And jokingly proto merlin replies that was something she didn't tell anyone yet. Similar to douman, it's possible that merlin could be a beast candidate if he ever fell in love with humanity.
Just Primeape Murder being on thew let of Crimson Moon is so fucking nuts to think about. I'm not the hugest fan of power level the nasuverse but damn that a scary thought to think ,
On the fujimaru joke anime wu tizan(purple haired loli grandma assassin) is always afraid of fou calling him a cat, where the gang even investigates to find out what he is a fou looks petrified, then they conclude he's a pet of a magical girl , then and the credits poor dude is depressed going through it😂 I thought he was a rabbit, but they even called this out, if u look at blk cats they seem different from normal cats their usually with witches are magical girls, and a lot of people compare fou with kyoubei from magical madoka funny enough. Their has been some bunny servants but not actual cat servants other than tamamo cat, and im not suspecting her to stop him since she hasn't been in the main story, other than other goddess like ishtar(she probably wouldn't care) and especially ereshkigal knew what he, was in ishtars body in Babylonia she was terrified of him too, it seems like fou doesn't want the gang to know what he is, and his emotions might be based on mash, cuz he's tied to her, the newest lostbelt opening shows parts of this too, no that mash is fully human she maybe experiencing true human emotions that she did feel in the beginning of chaldea, and remember mash's origins as tachie, we possibly might get a mashu avenger with fou, mashu has fou voice lines in her swim suit from the 1st summer event, its cute but this is the little things i noticed
merlin definitely doing some magecraft to say sorry to fou and him his pre giving up his self for mash (THIS WILL HAPPEN NOT COPE FOR MERLIN CONTENT I SWEAR😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 pleae fgo just a crumb i’m begging just a smidge of main line merlin content)
I'd love it if Natsu ever dives into what Contracts Altrou has on so many entities and what her power entails regarding those contracts. We gets snippets about her but i don't think we ever know what she looks like or what kind of favors/deals she's amassed over the millenia along with if her contract power is her idea blood or something completely different.
Personally, I think Fou when he saved Mash. Think of him like a water bottle and the water representing his magic, intelligence, and personality. The miracle emptied out that bottle and gave it to Mash. Once it was the done the bottle closed and he can fill up again, giving his intelligence and personality back, slowly.
What Fou saw was athe life of a simple girl doing her best with her senpai/senior to save their world from overwhelming odds. This Fou sees people culling Timelines and worlds to save their own. A comparison between dead ends for Humanity and us choosing Proper Human History. Yeah... I dont think thisll be good.
