Im a horse person and an agricultural graduate from the late 70s. It was all beef cattle in our area but a few milking facilities. I now realize how much better cattle are cared for now as they were 40 yrs ago. Yes we worked with what we had but lordy that squeeze chute is to die for.

We aim to leave the cow comfortable with the proper heel height. It is possible to leave them too high on the heel so it’s all about observation on the day.
