@@TheBradyBuchli I recommend you give all 4 games a try (and yes I did say 4 because I actually like Sly 4 and think it is a good game, not the best game but still a good game). They are great games
I remember once I brought the shark up to the beach to the point he couldn't follow me, so he'd just swim in place at the water's edge. Turns out he's also immune to damage if you try to wail on him there.
Bro hearing that sound screech then panicking and not catching the ledge as a kid was my Achilles heel. I hated that damn shark bro. I wouldn’t even go to the Precursor temple at first cause of that frickin shark
Something similar happenes to me. I got on the platform as the shark came after me. It circles the platform 3 times before giving up and swimming away. I jump to the next platform and mid jump the shark jumps and eats me midair. Scared THE SHIT out of me.
I still get scared when that THING(lurker) comes out and gobbles you. At least in jak 2, the jumpscare is instant. No panicking for a solid 2-3 secs. You go too deep, the crimson guard shoots you down
I know Crash Bandicoot was created to be a rival towards SEGA’s Sonic, which had the infamous drowning water soundtrack that played when you were underwater too long. I’m wondering if the lurker shark in this game was meant to be the Naughty Dog variation of that since they both have a rising audio sequence that plays which is meant to scare the player.
Never tease the lurker
Yeah I learned that the hard way😊
Yes. Reminds me of the snake head the episode from Penguins of Madagascar. The way how it looks.
You will always mess up your jumps when trying to get out of the water. It’s just the fishing goddess many blessings/curses.
That shark used to scare me shitless as a kid
It would get my heart rate going for sure!
It still scares me shitless as an adult
@VeganerHippie, me as well. Always since I was a child till now, a young adult! 🤣
Also the one in ratchet and clanl rilgar blackwater city
as soon as I heard that fking shark my heart was pumping hard just like in the game I quit the game because of that bitch 😤 a few times
Shark was a real threat in Jak 1 that he ended on the wall trophy in Jak 2.
Crews Hip Hog Saloon 😁
Only to be replaced by a drone who shoots you like you’re a dog to the atf
@@TheBradyBuchliKrew
Good catch brother! 😁
Lol i know you started panicking there
That shark started my fear of water in video games I always get anxiety when swimming in games even if I know there is nothing there
Ratchet: Bro, I FEEL you.
Nope, even as an adult in my 30s who played this game as a kid, this whole video gave me anxiety. Well done!
It still gives me anxiety in my 20s lol. I love the rush of adrenaline & anxiety when the lurk sharks heartbeat gets louder!
Lurker Shark is scarier than Jaws, change my mind
I remember the first time I saw that thing, it scared the shit out of me
It still scares TF outta me man! Lmao!
@@TheBradyBuchli I can say that about the beast from Mz Ruby’s lair in the first Sly Cooper game
@@TheBradyBuchli and agreed
@SHMidlerPlays you might be surprised to hear that I’ve never played Sly Cooper but I have watched people play the game 👀

I could never lure the Lurker Shark that close to the beach without being swallowed whole! 😅😅
@@TheBradyBuchli Iirc it was near the cliffs next to the Forbidden Jungle, where there was a steep dropoff point.

Hearing … *Very Strong Heartbeats* getting closer & closer 😬🦈
Where is the giant lurker shark from the thumbnail? Clickbait ?
Clickbait 😉
At least he’s honest 😂
@@nachorex Facts 😂
The Lurker Shark used to terrify me as a kid. 😰
I’m an adult and it still gets my heart racing like it did as a child 🤣
It looks like Baby Shark and it’s still scaring my brain bad as a teen 😭

I wish they introduced the lurker shark again but maybe bigger for Jak 2 & 3 😈
@@TheBradyBuchliin 3, it’s some giant sea monster that grabs you with a tentacle out of nowhere from below
@crimsonmaelstrom573 that giant squid tentacle is kinda scarier though huh?
Happens to the best! 😂
Jak the Shark Bait
This is my trauma
Hearing a heartbeat from the open water would absolutely cause some trauma!
the sound when he is hunting you 🥴
You’d get that slight Adrenaline Rush fs 😝

Good observation & theory! Might have to look into that one deeper 😉
Love Rock Village, wish you could explore it more; like up in the living areas overhead
I wish we could too man. Pretty cool areas if we got to explore them, I think
It’s not a jump scare if I see his fins before he jumps
I use the troll this thing
I thought I could 🙄😆
