I do like the yellow, but I do wonder why they changed everyone's colors to yellow, is there some lore reason why they're yellow? But they really do look good in their classic colors.
Realistically, the answer is "so they don't accidentally teamsplat each other". Why this is relevant when no one but the player seems to actually do the tests, I don't know. Then again, Callie occasionally giving you 100 power eggs supposedly from the Captain makes one wonder what happens when you're not around...
I sorta noticed with the yellow, but the orange makes it way more obvious, Captain 3's ink color (or at least tentacle color) is way lighter than any orange in the game....are they basically going grey haired for an Inkling? Which is kinda weird because aren't they like 21 or something? Honestly, looking at this, the yellow theme they had in the actual game looks kind of boring and bland, especially considering that they were all yellow. I kind of wish Nintendo went with this, especially with the Squid Sisters, ie incorporated their classic colours somewhere in their outfits
I get that I’ve made 3 separate comments but I just want you all to know how much I love this Callie looks so cute in her pink and this outfit in three goes best with pink and her contrast makes her even more memorable. Marie looks better in this green then the lime. And Captain was just perfect. I wish Callie and Marie could join deep cut and do 5 COLOR TURF WARS! I love the hustle of them even tho I’ve always been the team in the middle. 5 would just make feel major hyped. Nintendo should’ve used these colors
@@yeetywoomy It's probably the lack of text, I don't know if it happens to you but for me the text kinda doesn't load properly sometimes in the game dialogues and I've seen other people's gameplay where it also happens xD the weird thing is, it didn't happen in the first version of the game

I can upload it but, the video is partially edited in some scenes because Callie's color is linked to the player's, so you'd have to use Fl*xlion (sorry I'm scared to mention it because Nintendo) to make your color pink in the waiting screens or jump into the water for the game to refresh her color, other option would be for me to completely change the yellow into pink
