- Leading up to his fight with Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, Khabib Nurmagomedov got annoyed with a reporter who asked about his father passing away and not being there for the fight.
The fight with Gaethje will be the first fight for Khabib since the passing of his father in early July.

Fighters have media obligations to promote fights. It's similar to how star actors have to go on radio shows/tv talk shows to promote the upcoming movie. It's in their contract.

My Dad was alive when this interview came out and was killed in a car crash 3 months later so I understand his pain. People always acting like they understand your pain but have never felt that pain themselves
