- After living his entire life outside in the cold, heat, rain and snow, Joey really loves being in the house and sleeping in the bed. Dogs are awesome!

I just can't wrap my head around why someone would get a pet, toss them outside and virtually ignore them. Make it make sense. So happy for Joey.

I have neighbors who do. If I didn't make sure they were fed and pet them as much as I could, It'd never happen. I hate my neighbors.
I used to live in Germany and so many service members would abandon their pets when re-assigned to another post that many rescue organizations would refuse to allow Americans to adopt.
Oh my goodness what a life these dogs have, chilling on a human bed, then living the best life outdoors, lovely to see! Thanks Lee for your dedication! 🙏

i've heard some people say its nasty to have your pets on the bed...but i think its great all snuggled up ..i see mine as my family as lots do so having them close and all warm snuggled up feeling safe is the best thing ...was so cute lee singing to joey you can see he feels loved safe and happy running about with the pack
Sometimes when I'm feeling down and a bit sorry for myself, I just watch a bunch of The Asher House videos and my heart is filled with such joy. I love all the dogs, cats and birds. Of course it makes sense he would love the home. It is shelter and filled with love which is something he was denied access to. I am glad Joey is happier and it shows. He's living a normal life as a dog and now he has siblings, dogs he can communicate with as well as humans. He must be loving it. You made one more dog happy in this world and it is a good thing.

Joey is in heaven, like all the dogs in the Asher House, love, fantastic walks in freedom, sharing bed and constantly contact with you, cuddles, kisses, respect and understanding about his needings. Your videos randomly coming up with a song has me so joyful and gives me a guttural laugh deep down inside of me. Tommy under the covers with his foot twitching, so content. Joey fitting in with the pack on a walk looking back to see you. They all gauge where you are. It’s a beautiful thing to watch.

Just like my thee babies. Lots of cuddles. Sadly they are very old now and two are blind. Can only go out in the back garden. Sleep most of the day. All babies deserve a wonderful life. Thank you for being a wonderful, fantastic human!!! We need more like you. World would be a much better place. ❤

Wow!! Seeing how far everyone has came is truly amazing!! I remember when Roger 1st came and how scared he was was and now he's a gentle giant, without a care in the world, and being able to be himself Roger. Then Millie(Mildred), was nothing but skin and bones, could barely walk due to the lime disease, was terrified of absolutely everything and now she's running, keeping up with the pack, she looks awesome and you can even tell her gait has improved to where you can barely tell she had struggled walking! Lucy, was absolutely terrified of everything. I remember bawling through out her rescue video because she had literally been mistreated her whole entire life, and even after she had made it to the sanctuary she would curl up in a cornerout of fear, now she's this beautiful, sweet girl that loves her daddy and is living her absolute best life!! Golly, just seeing the pack happy, healthy and thriving and that is all because of a dream 1 man had, and is now this absolutely amazing place called the Asher House!! Thanks to all involved and apart of the Asher House, y'all are amazing humans, and am grateful to be able to see all the amazing things y'all do!!

I rescued a Samoyed that had the same circumstances! Six years outside on a clothesline run-be it sunny, lightening storm, burning hot, freezing cold-he was sooo a house dog and loved his bed, our bed, sofa...anything soft to lay on!!!!
Gosh, that shot of all the doggos outside with the brilliance of the sun and trees looked like a glimpse of heaven 🍁🍂
After what he has been through Joey seems to be absolutely lapping up the love that Lee gives him, to see him so comfy on the bed is wonderful. I hope the neighbors who brought Joey to Lee's attention will see this video and know what a great thing they did in trying to protect Joey from his horrible life and know that without them he would still be tied outdoors with no companionship or love in all kinds of weather. And Moo has the most unique coloring, beautiful.
I bet the lady who helped rescue Joey is thrilled. I know Lee is fostering, but J deserves his forever home loving home.
