My buddy and I were talking about getting a Marketplace beater to learn to wheelie so we can negate all the worry of crashing and hesitation in just sending it. Nobody wants to dump their nice bike bending bars, breaking signals, levers etc. Once we got good we'd just sell it back to some poor dolt.😂 Once you get it up there with the initial throttle, you have to follow with steady throttle delivery, not cut it completely then "blip, blip, blip". It's intuitive to chop throttle once it's flying up but counterproductive to what we're trying to do. The other thing nobody mentions is that we instinctly lean forward once it's popping up there, till we can stop that we'll always be killing that momentum.
dude all of that is such good feedback! I have been trying to avoid leaning forward. haha so scary to lean back haha. Also the blip blip is tough too! I'm trying to do better steady throttle. I'll work on that for day 5!
If you can find some flat field or dirt lot even, it'll be a lot better when you inevitably lay er down. That concrete gonna break something. You've inspired me to start up a second channel for our dual sport adventures, also wanna join this challenge and post my progress. Still wanna link up with y'all this season, you been to the KAT? (Kentucky Adventure Tour) in red river gorge area?
@@phantomshtterI haven't yet! that sounds fun tho! and hell yeah! I need to practice on dirt for sure too. I just like how with concrete, you have to be 100% with your wheel spin control because if you don't, you're looping it has helped me force myself to get the front up quickly with zero wheel spin. in dirt, she spinnin haha
Looks like you made a lot of progress! Balance point is further back than you'd expect. To see exactly how far back it is with the bike off holding the back brake fully you can have a couple strong friends lift the front till the bike with you on it balances.
dude thank you so much. going to try to do a rear brake tap just before to get a little bit more front Fork compression to aid and going up. I have done it a few times and it definitely helps but it kind of surprises me because the bike comes up faster than I am anticipating LOL. going to be out tomorrow giving it a try

That's a smart idea!!! dude it's so freaky!!!! I'll try getting the bike up there
@@urbexcross The trick is balance and have them let go!!!
@@22YZ450FX ahhhh that's a smart idea too! basically have the bike static at balance point and then try to move forward and maintain it?
Your front fork compression and overall form is looking allot better! 5 more days and you will have this thing! Great progression.

2 weeks you’re there man calling it now!
hahaha shoot, trying! you did so good yesterday man!

500 looks hella punchy! And your progressing hella fast! I swear youll have this slow stuff down before me
thanks bro! I'm struggling though it's SOOOOO Sketchy going that high back!!!
@@urbexcross i saw you almost looped! But your getting there!!!
@@denox420 Everyone loops and then they know better LOL!
@@22YZ450FX ofc ofc I almost looped a few times during practice today
@@denox420 Looks like you are doin great!!! Everyone loops. Gear helps.. ATGATT! A bike is a cheap fix and hard to ruin.
