Canadian Pacific "The Empress"

In April of 2023 the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern Railroads merged to form the CPKC. Later that month a video was released showing the 2816 being moved into CP's Calgary shops where she was be rebuilt for a full system tour from Calgary to Mexico City to celebrate the merger. This would become known as the Final Spike Tour and is the first steam led excursion to ever traverse through three different countries. On the way to Mexico City, the engine traversed across much of the Midwest US and here we see her crossing the state of Iowa bound for Kansas City, Missouri.
