Minnesota vs Purdue. We played a good game last week but couldn't get it done against Iowa. On to Purdue we play a team with a talented offense that may be able to take advantage of our weaknesses. We'll look to correct defensive mistakes from last week and get our third win.

Very fun to watch game. The beginning of this game worried me a bit though. You made a telegraphed throw leading to an INT but you bounced back nicely after that. Not much to criticize this game because you made some DAMN good throws. The only issue which you've always have had is pocket presence. You roll out of the pocket when there is no reason to resulting in sacks and off balance throws. A lot of people have that issue though and it can be hard to correct. Another thing. Slide with Leidner. It's a bad idea fighting for yards with him, ESPECIALLY in the rain. I don't know if the cover ball mechanic even works like it should.
On the defensive side I thought you played really well after the first quarter. Try using the 3-3-5 defense a bit more. It's pretty solid against the pass. I liked how you used it a lot on 3rd down this game and it worked great other than that incredible grab with that deep pass. I just had a feeling Andre Gaines would make huge strides this season and I was correct. Dude it playing like a beast. With Doug Duckett I can't really put much blame on his drop because it's in the rain and there's a defender right on him. Drew would of caught it, but Drew has god hands.
I hope you don't think I watch these games just to criticize. I've watched since your Vikings Franchise, and I really love your videos. I just feel like as a viewer if I can help you with some tips I'm doing good since I know you read comments.

You need to put more points in ur cornerbacks and you need at least one safety. I would look at ATH's man they usually have some amazing stats and make great ball hawking safeties.
I don't know what to expect week to week. I like that.

You should use Doug ducket like a Tavon Austin run some jet sweeps and occasionally use him in the backfield to take advantage of his quickness

You're wrong, 'Cane. When you've actually committed to the run, you've regularly made strong gains. They've played good against the run only when you've passed it come hell or high water.

Leidner is a serviceable backup. Definitely NOT a starter.

You should consider making Doug duckett a runningback or if you throw a wr screen use him or David Clark they r both fast and can be utilized well
With those hands I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was a better cornerback than a wide reciever.

I wish Duckett and Harbison would switch spots, as in Harbison should be the slot receiver.
I run the flea flicker once a game in a 14 game season I'd say I'm only successful with it 2 or 3 times. My receivers can have great speed and release my quarterback can have great arm strength and accuracy and still only a 20 to 30% success rate with the flea flicker but when the computer does it on heisman it almost always works. I can play a team like eastern michigan with 69 overall receivers and somehow the computer makes the play, it's bullshit

cane you need better starts on offense and defense. this wasnt the only bad start in the year you always give if up points the cpu's first drive partly because your overly conservative on 3rd downs and give the cpu QB wayyyyy too much time in the pocket because you d-line makes no pressure even if you send four. and whenever you get the ball to start out with, you never get any points. and by giving up a score first possession and not retaliating creates an early deficit and is why you always seem to be behind every damn game no matter who you play.

It's a created playbook. Plenty of pistol and shotgun.

I revamp it every year. I started out with a pro-style offense with 0 formations with 4 or 5 WRs. Once I built the WR core and wanted to center it around a mobile QB I changed to the pistol. We had too many good RBs for me to only want one at the field at a time. That's where the Diamond package became our base offense. Then I added formations based on the players. I'll do it again next year.
