it’s a very deep language, as for the “sukoon” and “shadda” i will give you an example that have both cases
"مُحَمّدْ"
as you can see there is a “shaddah” on the second "م" which make it pronounced as (Moham-Mad) and not (mohamad) and the letter "د" is “Saken” (having sukoon)
it pronounced just D
not Da or Du or Di
Another example for sukoon: سَلامْ
the م is saken
another example for shaddah: الله
the ل is mushaddad (have shaddah)
that’s why we say AL-Lah
not Alah

the good thing is we don't need to use like 40% of arabic words in our lives.
so it's kinda of a difficult and easy language at the same time, it's really enjoyable when it comes to romantic purposes. : )

I really want to master Arabic. The second language that was told to me at my school was Arabic, however my 2nd language right now is English since a lot of people use it and it's so easy finding material to learn English. I forget Arabic lesson faster than English because the alphabet is different from what I use in daily life, I use Latin alphabet. That's why I hope by watching this writing lesson I can master Arabic in advanced.
Seeing people learning my native language is just fabulous , hope you all the best

I would like to make the same suggestion I made in the comments for the Hebrew video. When you say something in Arabic, realize that we are just beginners, and half of the sounds are not being grasped in our minds. But, if you place an English phonetic spelling on the screen AS the host says the word, for example, the Arabic word for "alphabet," then I can see what I am supposed to hear, and more fully appreciate the sounds, leading to understanding.
Would you like any help?

عادي اهم شيء نفهمه ويفهمنا
وبعد ان يتعلم عشرات اللهجات سيكتشف ان لكل منطقه توجد لهجه خاصه فيهم تختلف عن البقيه وبعدها بيكتشف ان في كل بلده او قريه في لهجه غير عن البقيه وبعدها بيكتشف ان بعض القبائل لها لهجه تختلف عن الباقي والحمدالله تجمعنا كلنا اللغه الام وهي الفصحى

Learning is so easy , u must start with alphapet , then u must study the long vowels , then harkat like ( َ ِ ُ )then u will be able to read and write , then u must save many words and verbs , by putting the verbs and words u learn in a sentence that u can save the words by this way , u must listen to arabic pepole but the furst step is to spell the lettere ""perfectly""
I'll learn anything a beautiful woman tells me to learn, seems today its Arabic...wish me well.
