People need to start understanding that men are not what they seem. They are secretly obsessed with sex. Bast majority of men have paid for sex at least once in their life. Many men look for prostitutes that are skinny, not curvy and barely have breasts because they look like little girls. Paedophilia is so much common of what people think… My boyfriend says that prostitution is essential: all those men who pay for sex would end up raping women if prostitution did not exist. Males want sex all the time, and it’s not biological, it’s cultural. Culture teaches them self indulgence, seek of power and need of validation through having women and having sex. For the entire history of humanity male depravity has been the elephant in the room that no one dares to talk about. We need to change this. We need accountability. And Gisèle is doing it.

I was in an abusive household when I was younger too, being hit around and verbally which traumatised me and makes me wary of men as an adult physically, and wary of people in general with relating to the verbal abuse, but I could never understand the motivation there from those who did it to me and it made my stomach turn, revisiting the vivid memories. I went for counselling when I left home to confront it some years back. I would never do the same to anyone else as I know how damaging it is and WRONG. I can't relate to how anyone can be motivated by abuse... it is NEVER an excuse to do the same to another individual when you have experienced it, yourself or been abused in some form in the past. It has supported my concerns about the way men think about women in general...as I've been on the receiving end of a lot of weirdos in my time...unwanted attention, and disrespectful...this is why I have always questioned marriage tbh. It is something most women carry around as a dream from when they are little to adulthood...why? Why does a man have to be part of the answer to a lot of women's lives...when so many are like this?...and I expect that most of the wives of the men who are married in this line up, walk around going onto everyone else about how wonderful their husband is to them.
The ripple effect for so many women and their offspring and extended families is going to be overwhelming as a result of this. It's horrifying but perhaps it is time to address the "reality" of how a lot of men actually think about females and for women to wake up.

This is the most vile thing I've ever heard. The person closest to you... Would do this to you. And you have to walk by them!?!? What sort of "man" would EVER even think of this!?!?
This woman is incredibly strong. This takes mental and emotional fortitude to stand where she is and walk where she walked after everything. I am so grateful for her bravery, and opening up the courtroom, which must've felt even more invasive, so that this case could be public and she could stand for justice for rape survivors.
