So glad to hear that. There is a lot more to spey flies but this is a good foundation for a good spey fly!!!

    Nice!
Question about the 3 pairs of hackle. How did you place them to each other? 1pair, 1 pair, 1 pair? Or left, left, left hackle to right, right, right hackle? Or......?
    Thanks and keep them coming!
    Cheers!

I should have showed how I did that. I placed all the lefts together, all the rights together, then put those together. So L,L,L, R,R,R

Rich, can you expand on the cape orange hackle (3 per side). The length and amount of web looks nice for Glasso pattern as opposed to stiff rooster hackle. Thanks.

Im not sure what you mean by expand on it. What I used, was just strung Chinese rooster neck hackle. I feel the neck hackle has as you said, good barb length and just the right amount of webbing to give these flies a very nice appearance. Chinese capes themselves are rather difficult to obtain so I used strung hackle from my favorite feather supplier. I get it from Feathersmc.com.

@@flytyingwithrichlamonte Many thanks Rich. I will look into alternate supply of orange neck hackle. My current supply lacks the sufficient web and/or length.
