Your videos are high quality! So I guess the 16GB RAM turned out to be enough for a smooth 4K video editing workflow? Would you still recommend a base model MBP for that kind of work?
Thank you so much, I'm glad you can see the quality🙏🏻 As for the 16GB of RAM, it has been overall good enough. I haven't had as many exporting issues as I used too for my previous video covering the 14" MBP. I think there was a software update and it solved most of those issues. But as for handling 4k workflows it does a good job and if you need too, 1080p proxy files almost never make it drop frames. I would actually recommend the base, newer M2 version. The extra performance will last you longer, and it's currently $200 off on Amazon! Hope this helps :)

The cheapest online shop has it for €2,050 (=$2,275), which has been the best price for a while. Maybe I'll also go used M1 Pro, they go for €1,350 (=$1,500). That's 35% cheaper for almost the same machine.
It's called CalcBar and it is an all in one, quick calculator right there at the top of my menu bar. You can do much more complex math with it than the stock calculator app on the Mac and I used this quite a bit while getting my engineering degree :)

Been using a case on my 2013 since 2013 and currently have used a case for my MacBook Pro M3 . You clearly don’t know what you are talking about.
You can’t justify justify buying an Andre case for 145 dollars that’s just ridiculous.
