There is an actual reason hatters went mad back in the day. To make the hats they made and sold look extra nice, hatters would use mercury as a way to make them that way. Mercury fumes are actually toxic and hatters would inhale the fumes and get poisoned. They eventually lost their minds and went crazy. Hence the phrase, "Mad as a hatter." The character of the Mad Hatter was dying of mercury poisoning.
Are we all looking over the fact that Jefferson was the first person to see that Emma actually has magic? Something that wasn't followed up on until mid next season.

MWAHAHAHA it's like he predicted it. XD I just love little things like this. They amuse me even if they happen by accident. I hope they put him in a few more episodes in the future when the actor has more time in-between the marvel movies. It would be so amazing if he came back to the show. He was my favorite. And his daughter grace was such a cutie. I just want to see what happened to them and how they are doing. As much as I love character of bucky, I love this character more.
