- Poppy playing her cover of "Spit" by Kittie from their album Brackish and then Concrete from her third album, I Disagree.
This was the first show of the Godless Goddesses tour with PVRIS and Tommy Genesis.
the security guard singing Concrete was everything.

This was a fun show. You got a good spot for steady footage too, I got knocked around a little by the people jumping or whatever.
Yeah, we were at the front rail. There was a big pillar preventing us from seeing the guitarist, though.

PVRIS was first
Tommy Genesis got 30 mins. PVRIS went next and had 1 hour. Poppy went last and had 1 hour with a 2 song encore.
Is she lip syncing? Sometimes she moves the mic away but there's no volume change
There was a noticeable volume change live. It's a backing track.

It's a backing track. She is also performing live vocals. Super common. Live you could hear both quite well.
Imagine thinking a backtrack automatically means lip syncing
The after effects on her voice lingered even after her mouth stops moving but I get what you all mean. It still looks odd.
On Concrete, you can actually hear her sing much clearer than in Spit.
Still using plenty of backtracks, but it's cool. She has so much untapped potential.
I feel like she is stepping on greatness. Also. I think backtracks are a current reality that we just need to accept. Live it was easy to hear her over it.
