How much months preparation is required for ielts if you only have basic level knowledge of English(like u understand english with normal accent, can write english with basic vocabulary, have just experience of reading paragraph questions of 12th q paper and answering it, and feels bit struggle in speaking case as I know what to speak but feels difficulty in saying spontaneous fluently ) So how much months preparation will be required for me?

Passport is mandatory, though some test centres accept other government ID's

For ielts it's yes...you need to have your passport compulsorily..and you can take either TOEFL or duoalingo with your government id, if you don't have your passport..even I'm doing the same now
