Thank you so much coach I got my first client about two weeks ago, but I watched your video before I actually got the client which helped me so much. You made a good point i totally agree , I rather give back money then try to collect, My heart wouldn’t feel good asking for money after a client have passed. I collected a deposit and I have been been able to get paid before each new service week starts, and I was able to pay my caregiver without Using my 9-5 pay check job or savings. I would have not even known to do that before your watching your video. Thank you so much for you being you. I have learned a lot from u. I look forward to signing up for your coaching services when I can. ❤️
Oh my goodness Michele, You sound like my twin I started my home care business in 2013 I had it for 5 years and I am actually working on getting back out there and you just confirmed so much for me. I had a situation where my client passed and I had to pay my employee and not having it I had to go to the family while they are grieving to invoice them for services rendered. Oh, I would love to speak with you if possible. Let me know how we can connect I have more stories for you. I truly loved it and still have the passion and that's why I'm going to get it as Mary- Mary song says get my blessing I know it's my calling and I love helping people.
Great video Michele I am having problems with clients right now are not paying their bills on time what is a good suggestions for clients that paying with checks and don't pay on time
I had the same problem Put this is your contract Bills payed late( 3 days) after due date consecutively for 2 weeks will be invoiced prior to service rendered Also services will be placed on hold until payment is made Not in those words but you get the point I hope this helps
Is it possible to use contract funding programs such as Fox Hire where the client signs a contract with me, and they ultimately owe the funding source?
It may be possible. Based on weekly billing and the potential variation in hours...I am not sure how it would work. Funding definitely works for staffing agencies, not so much for home care. You will get paid asap by the client.
Have you ever heard of Program Approved Service Agency? I provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. I applied through my state to become approved. I am wondering if I could use this method with my agency? I am also not having capital funds, however, I have started already as well.
How much should I pay my employee hourly ? Is 16 hrly good ? Also how much to charge my prospect is 20 hrly okay or should I charge more because I know this business that gets 40 hrly
In my opinion, if you’re planning to pay employees $16/h, then you should charge more than $20 hourly. Don’t be too expensive but don’t be too cheap either try to stand somewhere that will help you make profits and still make it affordable to attract clients .
I agree with you about having feelings for your clients. With this business, that is hard to separate.
Damn that makes soo much sense‼️‼️‼️‼️
I’m glad you have found value.

Collecting the deposit that will cause people feel uncomfortable?
Are there any grant options for providing services for this population?
I am opening a business in Florida. I would like to know if there are businesses start up grants as well.

Does collecting a deposit turn off prospective clients?
If it’s not explained correctly.
I’m stuck on the license application very confused on the documents that I need to upload.
Hello, yes it can be a lot. We offer a licensing packet, if you would like assistance.

What you do when a caregiver make the company loose a contract you still pay that employee or not
If the caregiver did those hours definitely pay them for labor
