The hiking, mountain biking, and paddle boarding, were fabulous. For not having gone on land there, you captured Molokai magnificently. We sold our beloved Tumbleweed in 2022, burned out on the cruising life x 7 years. But your channel has sparked the passion again. Truly binge worthy, your channel. With the loss of the old drone, Warren had to learn how to fly the DJI FPV (first person view) Which is a whole new level of flying! Despite its shakiness, the footage was pretty spectacular
Wow, wow, wow. I need to go back to Maui for more snorkeling and free diving. Thanks for taking us along I was really hoping you would have made it to Honolua Bay for some incredible snorkeling, but the wrecked pier worked just as well. We snorkeled Honolua back in 2016 and it was incredible. I am/was amazed by the difference in hard coral growth/life in the Pacific opposed to the Caribbean where it has been almost completely wiped out (except in deep water). Hawaii implemented stringent laws a long time ago to preserve and keep the waters around the islands pristine and it shows. I just came back from a 2 week trip to the USVIs and was completely disappointed in the lack of coral life and thus lack of marine life in shallow waters. The reefs around St Thomas and St John have been decimated due to humans not caring. Very sad
I agree! It is amazing to see the different corals and fish. We agree that the pacific side has a whole different variety. Excellent video!! Maui is truly paradise. During whale season that whole western side is just teeming with whales and newborn calves. Loved the FPV footage of Molokai. I’ve flown my drone many times off of Kaanapali beach where you anchored and McGregor Point down. Whales everywhere! Fair winds 🤙🤙
Molakai is very similar to The Wild Coast, on the east coast of South Africa, between Durban and Port Elizabeth. Rough, rugged untamed land falling into the sea
So I am here on my lanai. Having a cup of Kona coffee ☕. When I hear the ding on my phone to remind me of One of my favorite s.v. channels WE/SAIL is ready for my enjoyment 😉! So I start watching and I see and hear Warren say to Erica that she was fat and she eats all the time ⏲. Lol ! One, Erica You are not fat. Two, Warren ! One time in my life I said the same thing to Robin and only one time 🕐 and I lost my left eye 👁! So be Very Very Careful what you say to a woman. And by the way .I am 6'2 and Robin is 4'11. So don't under estimate what a woman can do. Lol! Now that I have said that! What A GREAT VIDEO 📹 this week! Breathtaking! And what is so nice here is you can sail ⛵ so close to the Islands 🏝. Correction...You do NOT need permission to go ashore on Molokai. Thats a myth. All coastlines in Hawaii are public, even on Ni'ihau. Yes, some angry Fillipino might come down and throw rocks at you but just let them know that whites were in Hawaii long before Fillipinos.
