Gunakaya homestay is pretty comfort to live there, and around Sanur there's so many facilities, such as Spa, WIne shop like Frend, Sanur is very complete, thanks Gary for the update
Hi Gary, I have some requests questions regarding the homestay at jln duyung , It's next to Hyatt regency hotel? Looking forward for your respons! Thanks!
yes Duyung Homestay is located on Jalan Duyung as you walk down to the beach from the homestay you walk past the side of the Grand Hyatt. Duyung Homestay is featured in the link below. th-cam.com/video/UAgmhNSxr0Y/w-d-xo.html
The garden rooms looked immaculate, the tiles used on the walls in the bathroom were so beautiful. It was very nicely done if they have re-furbished the rooms.
I show a money changer in the video close by to Gunakaya, there is also A BMC money changer on the same road if you keep walking towards jalan danau poso/popular supermarket. Do Not Change money at any of the places along the streets with the little white boards offering higher exchange rates.
Cash will be better because debit cards you will have fees from bank in uk & indonesia and also you will be restricted to 2 million withdrawl from all machines except permata bank which allows 3 million per transaction. You can but your card back in the machine again and withdraw money again but you will have withdrawl charges again. Take a look at wise.com this is a good card to for travel use.
Hi Gary, I watch your U tube channel not sure if you can help me at all I have reached out to a couple of other people that I follow but have not had a reply,I am from nz and heading over in sep I saw you have done tours through some accomadation and wandering if its possible to do a tour through Nyaman guest house in sanur?Last time we were over we stayed at Majestic Marigold which I believe is shut now so we are looking for somewhere near there.Looking forward to your reply Thanks Glynis

Hi Gary The garden rooms have they all been refurbished
The garden rooms looked immaculate, the tiles used on the walls in the bathroom were so beautiful. It was very nicely done if they have re-furbished the rooms.
Thanks for the info Gary
All garden rooms refurbished. These are their standard rooms. The deluxe pool ones have not been refurbished.
Gary is the second room you showed us the Deluxe room
The first room the owner told me was poolside and the second room was garden view i preferred the garden view rooms
I just spoke with the owner at Gunakaya homestay he advised me that the rooms by the poolside are the deluxe rooms.
