- Watch as a little baby Sulcata Tortoise hatches from an egg! This baby tortoise is the second tortoise that has hatched from our clutch of eggs laid by our female Sulcata Tortoise, Tinkerbelle! As you will see in this hatching video, it takes hours, sometimes days for a baby tortoise to hatch! As of now, we have named this baby tortoise #2! Do you have any name suggestions for our little pet tortoise?

Great question! And they did not hatch on the same day there was some space in between which is really interesting

@@corbinmaxey I completely agree. Here's a random story, at our house there is this window and in the summer animals unfortunately get stuck in it. The animals we've rescued from it is a wide variety such as mud-turtles, garter snakes, young cottontails, mice, toads, and frogs, once some sort of larger animal popped up digging in it, not sure what but it was brown.
