Excellent work, right up there with your Civil War battle sounds. Really like the flying solid shot and exploding shells with ground impacts. I use your ambience frequently in war gaming and RPG sessions
I'm playing your 1 Hour of Extreme Napoleonic Wars Battle Ambience and Yorckscher Marsch along with this, and it makes it sound like the Prussians are coming. Excellent work, however!
Do you guys have any suggestion of books or movies about this period? I'd love to write fiction set in this era, but not about pirates like all media seems to be... Maybe something like a military fiction about a soldier in one of these armies...
"Swords Around A Throne" by John Elting, to get a "feel" for the period. Then, read memoirs....The memoirs of Charles Parquin and Baron de Marbot are excellent, from the horseman's point of view. For infantry, read the note-books of Captain Coignet. Good luck!
Ambience from (and illustration of) the Siege of Venice in the War of the Pact of the Crusade in 1801 (a different world), and Napoleonic Siege of Toulon, overlapped.
As a retired gunner, this is music to my (deaf) ears!😊
Were you in any battles?
@@GutavusAd0lphus maybe he was in the battle of waterloo

'For Studying, Thinking and relaxing' - while you're in the battlefield. LOL
